My daughter lives in the apartments next door, so our whanau have booked in here previously. We have always found it very convenient, and it is so central to everything we usually need. I was especially grateful this time as I needed a ground floor room due to recent injury. Lovely Rose accommodated me, and I was also able to park right outside. My son and his whanau were also staying at the same time, and it made life so much easier for all of us to have our units at the motel, whole using my daughter's home next door as our main base. My unit was spotless, tastefully decorated and I was well provided for with everything that I needed for my stay. Rose and Brett were so pleasant and easy to communicate with, and we all felt safe and comfortable at the motel. Not a complaint or a criticism at all, but perhaps something to note - there is a step up into the shower which can take some navigating with an injury if you have no-one to assist you. And the shower lever that turns on and controls the water is quite high for a short person with an injury. I had to be extremely cautious and very careful about how I got up onto the ledge, then trying to balance and turn on the shower and get in without re-injuring myself. However, I was catered for most generously on every other level therefore managing the shower did not diminish my overall satisfaction and gratitude. Mauri ora!

The hotel was convenient, since we needed to access a camper van company in the area. But it turned out convenient to visit downtown too, with the LRT close by. Rooms were clean and well kept. Older set up, but just right for what we needed and clean. The hosts were great and very helpful. Good price. Enjoyed the facilities.

Due to the cyclone Gabrielle our flights were cancelled this motel was a little further out than we would have liked but once here I was so glad we had booked it. The lady behind the desk was very friendly and helpful the place itself is roomy, clean and well maintained the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. There's also a very nice restaurant next door. The 38 bus from the airport drops you just down the road. The shops are about a 20/25 minute walk away. I would book this motel if we get a chance to come to New Zealand again.
