We stayed here on our way to northern Maine. We picked out the hotel on the drive, it was the lowest price of the Hilton properties around. We got a suite w a king bedroom and full living room. I was afraid w the lower price - compared to the Hampton Inn across the way- it would b less nice or maybe showing some age. But no, pleasantly surprised. Liked: the full fridge in the kitchen ( which also had a two burner stove!) so we could empty all our groceries. Really liked the full freezer for the ice packs. Perfect ac Very clean and in excellent repair Breakfast staff were plentiful and helpful. Usual comedy beds from Hilton The windows open. A nice touch ouch up here where u want the fresh air The front desk staff were engaging Fire pit area looked really nice and was all set up and on when we arrived at 9pm. Make your own breakfast burrito. What we didn’t like. Our room was on the front and across the street was a construction place. They started work at 6ish am w the beeping of backing up trucks and using the back how to drop large bundles of dirt into the trucks. Bottom line. Ask for a room on the back if u can. It’s the perfect spot to breakup a long drive. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Waterville last time - it’s just a bit further north, and, while also nice, it was as more expensive this time and it doesn’t have the full fridge.
