Hotel Sonia Cidco

I read reviews prior to booking this hotel. I must say that the hotel gives you a feeling of staying at home. Luggage is sanitised at the time of check in. The staff is extremely friendly and looks after you really well. The service is really quick right from check in; to stay and even during check out. ROOMS are clean, linen is fresh and toilets are old but well maintained. The owner is very polite and humble. Special thanks to Bhagatsinh, Mahendra, Gokul, they looked after all my needs and completed all service requests at the property. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I felt really safe during my solo visit to Aurangabad. Good Job Hotel Sonia !!

Options in Morning breakfast should be more. Very few options are offered. Also, Room cleanliness shall be slightly more taken care. Overall experience is good. Coffee maker shall be available for coffee lovers.

Central location. The rooms are of average size. 2 view options in rooms... the one facing the highway is preferable to the one facing a terrace restaurant and bar. Bathrooms were not very clean. Definitely need improvement. Bed linens need to be more clean. Complimentary breakfast is provided in rooms by order... buffet breakfast not available.

I travel for work in my car and sometimes reach Aurangabad late at night and stay at a hotel and drive on early next morning. This time I booked Treebo Trend Sonia. That was a big mistake and led to an unsafe, disturbing and extremely disappointing experience. My and my colleague’s government ids (Adhaar cards) did not have the same surname so the hotel outright refused to honour the booking. They asked me to produce a marriage certificate. I’ve stayed at tonnes of hotels all over India and abroad and never had to face such humiliation. The terms of booking could have said- “only same gender couples or marriage certificate carrying couples allowed.” They were rude to me and my female colleague and their men surrounded us threateningly in case we created a scene. We did not of course- verbal molestation and harassment was enough and we did not want to have a physical one too. We left to find a nice 3-star hotel and had a very pleasant stay elsewhere. DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE if you have any women *****- the Sonia ppl are all letches and goons.
