I was nervous to book a Hyatt Regency in downtown Austin, however the service and location could not be beat. We drank at the terrace overlooking the river, and met up with friends that had done a dinner cruise. Aber and Taylor at the restaurant were attentive and service was on point for our large and rowdy group. The buffet breakfast each morning was a great value, Alesha was friendly and made sure our plates were always cleared and that any special requests for breakfast were honored. We easily walked into town each night for dinner, visited the top stores, and it was a short drive to the wedding we were attending in the countryside and a beautiful drive. much better decision to stay in town and drive to wedding than to stay farther from town. Conner was wonderful at check in and kept taking good care of us throughout our stay.

We love the Hyatt Regency Austin. The location can’t be beat! Right on Lady Bird Lake with direct access to the Hike & Bike Trails. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the lobby, restaurants, and rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The restaurants are excellent. Great outdoor space overlooking the river. Service is excellent and breakfast buffet is outstanding. We return again and again!

As always in Hyatt, the staff is great, and so are the rooms! The location is fine... not to close to either SoCo or downtown.

Excellent hotel with direct access to the riverwalk. It looks completely different from the inside as it is 100% renovated. As an explorist I reiceived a hand written card with a credit for their convenience store, which was a very nice surprise. The rooms as so beautiful and clean and the views were amazing.
