Great location, beautiful hotel, and such a fun vibe. 10/10 would stay here again.

While my husband is not a fan of how busy Austin is, staying at the Hotel Van Zandt totally changed his mind! Every encounter with staff was wonderful, they are all so friendly, professional and helpful. Shan at the front desk was just the sweetest!! We brought our pups with us and they were treated so sweetly, with a dog bed and bowls already set up in our room upon arrival. The hotel is gorgeous with a wonderful rock and roll vibe and you can literally walk anywhere in the area and find great food, drinks or something to do. It really is an awesome area. We will for sure stay here again!

I really wanted to like this place! The location is perfect for visiting the southern part of Austin. However, be aware that your reservations don’t mean a thing if they get a bigger fish hooked during your reservation dates! No pool. No live music. No sit down breakfast. No in-house dinner options. And No Warning!! Everything cancelled at the last minute. Consider yourself warned

Great experience every time I visit, I try to make this the only place I stay in Austin. Great rooms, great atmosphere, and great staff at the front desk and bars. Shan at the front desk was a delight and brightened my mood and set the tone for the entire stay.

I was super excited to stay here for me and my fiancé’s anniversary trip. I booked with Chase using my Sapphire Reserve for the benefits. When we arrived there was no regular parking only valet. They took my credit card for parking and I advised the front desk once we checked in that I wanted to use my property credit towards the valet. They said it was no problem and it would automatically apply. Well, after checking out I got billed the full $147 for the two nights of valet because they said they use two separate systems and that I’ll have to follow up another day to try to get this refunded. Not only did the front desk not make sure this was done correctly when I requested it up front, but they also told me the property credit would apply to the free breakfast for two credit. Which on the form they provided me said otherwise. They're supposed to be separate benefits. This poor customer service on top of the bedding, lamps and curtains being dirty with stains was a really disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family.

We have been coming to this hotel for 10 years now and it never disappoints. The location is phenomenal and the team is so accommodating. Valet team is so friendly and helpful! Will always come back

Hats off and a huge thank you to the crew at HVZ! My wife and I needed to make some changes to our reservation the week of. The staff were so incredibly accommodating. Shan at the front desk went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our anniversary feel special while executing the changes we needed. Thanks to Eric as well! The rooms were thoughtfully curated and spacious, with terrific views. The location is impossible to beat. The pool is refreshing with an upbeat crowd and atmosphere. What a wonderful experience we had. Start to finish, top notch hospitality. Hotel Van Zandt does not disappoint.

We had a phenomenal time at Hotel Van Zandt, mainly due to the exceptional service and attention to detail provided by Shan and Eric. Shan and Eric go above and beyond! They curated the most wonderful experience for us, and we will rave about this hotel for years to come. We will for sure be coming back!

We did not stay here but came for Saturday brunch. This is an extremely beautiful hotel! We had 2 tables of 14 so you can imagine service was a little slow understandably. Breakfast was pretty good but very very expensive! Saxophone player during the meal was fantastic! Outside pool bar had frozen drinks, while refreshing you only got a 6 oz cup for $18.00 each. Nice to visit but could of never afforded to stay long
