Comfort and design, but also excellent service! We also enjoyed the food truck!

Disappointed that we booked the hotels for the amenities but find out we don’t have access to the lounge areas like it seemed on the website. Restaurant/bar closed at 4pm on Sunday when website said it’s open til 10pm. Asked front desk and lady said it’s different management than hotel. When asked, it’s the same company but different management which came across to me as a way to say it’s not her problem. The premium price to stay at this hotel is solely for the amenities and not just the room itself. Otherwise, there would have been much more affordable options near same location. Asked me how long I was staying and said leaving Tuesday and her response was oh so just one day (two nights though). Felt very dismissive of a response like only those paying more deserved good service. I said I was going to leave a 1 star review, didn’t raise my voice, but was frustrated with her attitude and she said I was threatening her which seemed crazy. A bad review isn’t a threat. Will not stay here again. Do not recommend. Updated with photos to show bad design of room with amount of light. Picture shows blackout curtains drawn with zero lights on. They are hung too far away from windows and not wide enough. There are outside lights pouring in at night so never fully gets dark. The alarm clock is much too large and bright and all appliances have lights like microwave and thermostat making it difficult to sleep if you’re sensitive to light. Makes for great photos but there’s lack of thoughtfulness in the design. I had to cover all of the lights with clothing just to sleep.

Loved this hotel!! Perfect for a romantic weekend get away. Close to every thing on Congress but just far away so the noise and crowds aren’t annoying. There’s a nice H-E-B on the corner. Rooms have a fridge, oven, cooktop, and any thing else you might need. Nice bar and little cafe. Didn’t make it to the pool but it looked great!

Christian at the front desk is a gem!! Excellent customer service skills, super friendly and extremely accommodating. They are lucky to have him.

Great boutique hotel, beautiful decor. Nice pool area with Great music being played. There’s a small restaurant/bar/coffee shop and you order your food and it’s made in a food truck. It was very good. We were in town for the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was a short Uber ride away. There is a Heb grocery store. Within walking distance of the hotel we were there at a Sunday and there was a nearby church that was beautiful for a Sunday service. I would like to single out two of the workers at the front desk that were very helpful and friendly. Jacquie and the nite time guy Clay. You’re lucky to have them great employees.

Unfortunately we had a short stay at the Colton but we wish we had a longer trip! The hotel room was very clean (coming from a clean freak!) and cute, beautiful decor, calm, and very helpful staff. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Confused on what $30 amenities charge consisted of- but overall a great place! Will plan to stay at this establishment again when visiting Austin!

Customer service is clearly a high priority here. There was an issue with the door to my room for the first 2 days (out of a 7 night stay) so this was a problem. Everyone at the front desk was doing everything they could to resolve the issue, but for some reason, the door wouldn't work. Changing rooms wasn't an option due to being sold out but they found a workaround and refunded the entire trip! They delivered packages to my room and just overall went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. I want to thank everyone that helped make my stay better and went above and beyond. Thank you Brandon, Sila, Jackie, & Neil at the desk for your help and thanks to Juan in maintenance for doing everything he could. The folks at the cafe were also amazing.

Had a fabulous experience! Dakota provided amazing service and the view from the hotel was gorgeous.
