We were enroute from Burgundy to Paris. The hotel has character, unlike the typical chain. The building is old, and this creaky floors are all over the hotel. We didn't get a view of the canal, but I can imagine the rooms with a view of the canal would be much more pleasant. We had rooms facing the parking lot. We only stayed for one night, and didn't really use any of the hotel facilities. The bathrooms are small....like almost unable to turn.

Hôtel bien situé, accueil top, petit déjeuner parfait, chambre supérieure très décevante, petite, la route passe juste devant l’hôtel et l’isolation n’est pas bonne, salle de bains petite avec wc non séparé. vue sur rivière masquée par des arbres. je pense que le côté arrière est plus calme. une petite rénovation serait la bienvenue. dommage…

Fantastic location, excellent customer service check in , so/so on check out (she did not seem too interested) Parking good ( paid extra for it) Breakfast Ok ( paid extra , but would not do it again), Bed comfortable, Room Clean, Linens/towels soft. It was unusually hot weather so we wanted the central air on. It did not work Few at front of building was wonderful, but loud all night with people talking on the street which was weird because there was no restaurants or bars open. Car drove past all night long too. We would stay again and just fell in love with Auxerre.

L’amabilité, la disponibilité et l’élégance du personnel du front desk est remarquable et appréciable. La situation de l’établissement est absolument idéale, les prestations excellentes. Seul un effort sur la literie pourrait encore améliorer une expérience presque sans défauts.

Hotel located in a historic, well-maintained building in a beautiful area of Auxerre on the riverfront, below the historic center where are located of major monuments. Very friendly staff, I recommend booking parking first because spots are limited and alternative options not exactly convenient. Rooms are well kept, but for my taste a little too outdated

Hôtel très bien placé au bord de l’Yonne. Les 4 étoiles, il me semble que c’était avant !!! On attend le prochain rafraîchissement. Ascenseur agréable. Un matelas pas confortable et certainement pas neuf, j’ai eu l’impression de glisser de la tête aux pieds toute la nuit, pas de fenêtre avec isolation mais, tant mieux, pas de bruit même côté rue où nous donnions. Par contre, pas de pression pour la baignoire. Nous avons donc pris une douche collés à la barre de douche car pas de pression d’eau et pommeau de douche à l’ancienne. Chambre propre. Le petit déjeuner à 17€ était garni de produits de bonne facture, avec un très beau plateau de fromage, un saumon artisanal excellent, etc !!! Rien à redire, juste un grand bravo. Et un accueil souriant et aimable, ça fait plaisir d’être écouté et d’être considéré comme un client, et non un inconnu.
