Réservé avec une smartbox et supplément. Accueil cordial de l’employée. Nous nous installons au premier étage du bâtiment principal dans une chambre avec terrasse. Marche pour descendre sur la terrasse 40 cm….. premier repas correct sans plus . Première nuit épouvantable, literie hors d’âge. Nous déménagerons après avoir insisté . La seconde chambre dans l’extension est très confortable et la literie au top. Le second dîner : entrée parfaite, plat suggéré insipide même avec grand rajout de sel et poivre . ! Le patron n’est ni avenant ni agréable, ne nous adressera la parole que pour l’addition. Nous sommes très déçus car nous avions gardé un très bon souvenir de notre précédente visite. Ne mérite ni les 3 étoiles, ni la mention maître restaurateur.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit dans cet établissement. Les chambres ne sont accessibles que par un escalier en colimaçon. Les chambres sont vieillottes et malheureusement, nous avons trouvé un nettoyage approximatif dans notre chambre. De plus, toute la nuit, les radiateurs de la chambre ont fait des bruits étranges, rendant le sommeil difficile. Dommage, je ne le recommanderais pas.

Bien pour une nuit de passage. L'accueil est très (un peu trop ?) décontracté. On nous suggère de dîner tôt car la serveuse (la patronne apparemment) n'a pas envie de finir tard ... Le dîner était bon, le petit déjeuner aussi. Nous avons apprécié la présence du chien, mais d'autres clients pas autant que nous. On nous annonce un prix au téléphone, et pas le même prix au moment de payer. Bruit(toute la nuit) de machinerie de chauffage sans doute, dans la chambre 103, très désagréable.

A surprisingly upmarket hotel in this pretty and historic little town. Private parking in the courtyard at the back. Pleasant airy room which, like the whole hotel, showed thoughtful attention to energy-saving. An elegant restaurant with an excellent evening meal and breakfast. Very friendly staff:a good experience.

Lovely hotel close to the town centre. It is easy to find and has ample free car parking on the street at the front of the hotel or in the car park at the rear. We were able to park our motorcycles in the secure garage on the 1st night but not the 2nd as it was full of bicycles. The rooms are large, clean and veery comfortable. Ours came with a terrace and a resident squirrel that has made his home outside the bathroom window. The food is excellent and well priced. The town centre is just a few minutes walk away. There is also a very friendly, very large husky called Ashka (not sure of the spelling) at the hotel.

Super hôtel, propre et confortable, belle salle de bain. Nous avons logé dans la nouvelle aile. Prix tout à fait correct. Les petits déjeuners sont délicieux, mais nous aurions aimé avoir droit à un petit sourire en plus ! Par contre, le repas du soir n'était pas du tout à hauteur de nos espérances. Heureusement que la ville d'Avallon propose beaucoup d'alternatives.

Hôtel bien situé, chambre confortables, propreté irréprochable, excellent accueil, fine cuisine. A recommander. Avallon est une petite ville très sympathique au coeur d'une région offrant d'innombrables découvertes culturelles (basilique de Vézelay et son festival, abbaye de Fontenay, etc.) et de belles possibilités de promenade

Hôtel conveniently located. Small but comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurant. Walking distance to historical center. Plenty of street parking…hotel lot a little tight to get into. Easy check in and check out. Would stay there again if ever in the area.
