It is one of the worst property that I ever stayed in United States, the size of the room and the rest room are very small, I would not recommend to stay, there are other hotels around it which are very good, I stayed here two days they did not even clean or change the towels and bed spreads

Quaint but our unit slanted. Walls and shower dirty/stained. Bed mattress was uneven. Location great.

I had a wonderful time. I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and everything was clean and pristine. I worked with Mimi at the front desk and she made sure I had the best stay. You can’t beat the location. For a hotel built in the 1800’s I found it lovely.

Hermosa Hotel is just a block from the harbor and easy access to town. The hotel is quaint, comfortable and personable. We will definitely be returning to Avalon and will only stay at Hermosa! The rooms are in extremely clean and comfortable!

I recently visited Avalon with my son for the first time in 40 years. After searching all of the hotels, I settled on the Hermosa. My son and I stayed in a two bed cottage and have no complaints whatsoever. It wasn’t the Ritz, but that is not what I was expecting. They were very accommodating and allowed us to check in at 11am even though 4pm is the stated check in time. Thank you Hermosa, I’ll see you when next I return.
