Check in was very smooth. My girlfriend and I were pretty hungry when we arrived and saw The Original Anthony’s across the street , luckily the front desk has a storage area/ bell closet they will hold your luggage free of cost while you are away. Great location , clean clean rooms, water pressure and quality was luring , and great Concierge service for extra towels and whatever you may need. Breakfast is available to preorder for the next day, via QR code . We will have to take advantage of that next time .

Amazing location, comfortable beds, clean and family friendly. Our return ferry was cancelled due to the weather and they were able to extend our stay at a special rate which helped with an already stressfull situation. Highly recommended.

My husband and I wanted to regroup and recharge and wanted a retreat setting central to the town. We arrived by boat and luggage was picked up and delivered to hotel from the boat ramp. Hotel was able to do an early check in and we found the rooms very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The lobby was decorated very nicely and was a good place to socialize. 2 types of water were provided in the lobby. Morning coffee was complimentary in the lobby. Overall I gave this hotel a 5 star for cleanliness, decor, comfort of bed, ease of checking in, luggage picked up and taken back to the boat ramp, closeness a 1/2 block from central town and easy walking. I would return to Catalina and use this hotel. I am very picky about cleanliness of rooms and this hotel far exceeded my expectations.

The Hotel Atwater was outstanding. Our first time at this downtown icon.
Top notch location: steps from the beach, the pier, Catalina Express, Bluewater restaurant, Discover Catalina bus tour, shopping. The hotel staff was warm and professional. Coffee and tea in the lobby were appreciated. The beds are super comfy and lighting fantastic. Not the cheapest hotel in Avalon but well worth it. I hope to come back!

The staff at the facility were nice and courteous! They really took care of me and family. They made arrangements for us to check in early so my kids and I didn’t have to carry around our bags. They allowed us a late check out since our excursion was ending later than the check out time. And they also stored our bags on our last day even though we had checked out until our boat was leaving the Island! Very professional.
