Great ocean views. The rooms are super clean and staff are very helpful with any concerns that you may have. The fireplace inside was a nice touch during the night. Will stay again in the future. Close to all the downtown restaurants and pier.

Enjoyed our stay at the Metropole Hotel mainly to the convenience of proximity to walking everywhere. Hotel itself was average. Heater was very noisy, lots of construction noise nearby during our stay in February 2024.

Vanessa at the front desk was awesome!! After we had a terrible experience at a neighboring hotel, she made our experience one we will truly never forget. This will be the only hotel we stay at in the future, hands down. Super clean, friendly staff, clean premises. What more could you ask for?

Great location on Catalina Island. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our needs. Room was excellent and comfortable for 3. Coffee in room and the continental breakfast was great.

Beautiful hotel. Super clean. Right across the water. Has its own arcade, bars and restaurant. Great over all. I’ll definitely be back.

Lack of privacy - people looking into the room
From the courtyard shops. Had I known this we would not have booked here and do not feel like it was honestly represented.
The room smelled strongly of chlorine. Only three lights in the bedroom and one was broken. Bright light shone in from the courtyard all night.
Upstairs neighbors moving furniture and running across the floor until around midnight loud enough to wake us several times. No one at the front desk at night.
I should have left for another hotel on the island rather than trying to stay the night.
