Wonderful and charming. Loved our stay here in the two bedroom villa suites - what a view! We had sun and 70s one day and fog and rain the others, but the heated pool and hot tub kept the kids entertained. Service was excellent and friendly, breakfast was nice inclusion especially for the kids. Beach gear is available and included in resort fee, a great bonus. The Avila Pass you get at check in has some great discounts you’ll easily miss at the few restaurants and shops in town. Don’t miss Mersea at the Hartford Pier a 5-min drive away, it was our favorite meal in town. So good, we went back twice!

Loved our visit! Beautiful resort. Fun games for families. Very clean. Nice touch to have cookies at front desk and complimentary wine in our room. View was gorgeous and enjoyed text for checkout. Will be back and will recommend. Ocean front lower floor puts you at eye level with sidewalk passerby's so 2nd floor would be best for Ocean front rooms if you plan on sitting on the patio. Suites are roomy and bed was very comfy.Other family stayed in a 2 room villa 2nd floor overlooking pool area and ocean from living room and master conjoined patio. Sunsets were amazing. Very roomy and it had a gas fireplace which is cozy in winter. I really enjoyed this resort.

Nice hotel with nice ocean views conveniently located to local restaurants and beach (right across the street). Room was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, bread products, fruit, juices, coffee - overall basic but quiet adequate. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The bed was so comfortable! Best sleep ever! Listening to the waves crash all night was so relaxing. From check in, breakfast, landscaping to room attendant, Super friendly staff all around. You ask and they do their best to provide assistance. We will definitely be returning!

Spacious room and welcoming staff! Perfect location for a weekend getaway. Facilities are clean and maintained very well. Excellent breakfast each morning, which we enjoyed outdoor next to the pool. Great opportunity for a family vacation or couple retreat!

Great location, super easy access to the beach. Lots of families. Our neighbors had 3 small kids that were screaming and yelling off the balcony every day of our stay at all hours. Not the hotels fault, parents just did not supervise them.
