Motel 6 Avoca, IA

Always stay at yhis Motel 6 as we travel from Colorado to Michigan. Best Motel 6 we've ever stayed at.

Cleanliness in room was lacking. Several open areas or holes in walls. Black mold stains around base of tub.

Good: convenient, guest laundry and restaurant on site. Not so good: Horrible mattresses; noise from hallway and outside; restaurant had very limited options at 8pm on a Thursday night.

Very Clean and Friendly!

Price was right since we were only there overnight.

Stopped in at 10 PM after 15 hour drive as we were going cross country. This hotel is right off the highway, and is a great price! Staff was friendly. The room (101), while smaller than most and not fancy, was very clean. The queen bed was comfortable, and the shower was good sized, and hot water flowed freely. Next morning had a nice little breakfast at a reasonable price in the sports bar area, cooked and served by owner Ken. We chatted for a few minutes with him before hitting the road. Midwest hospitality at its' finest! Highly recommend this hotel !!

Kieth is an incredible nice manager with great hospitality he came and picked me up off the interstate when my truck broke down! The staff are nice as well! I will definitely recommend and will be staying here again

Very nice and helpfull staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very reasonable prices. With in walking distance of several restaurants across the street at the truck stop and a subway in the parking lot.

This has to be the BEST place to stay in Avoca, IA. My husband and I stayed on our way out to the Black Hills and our return home! The gentleman that checked us in was kind, friendly and very professional.
