I had a bad experience at this hotel for 4 nights. The lights and air conditioning didn't work well, but they gave me a fan when I asked. The food was not good, and tea was served cold. There was an unexpected 150 ETB charge for room service on top of a 10% service fee. The hotel is outdated and poorly maintained, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

wow i never seen before like vertex night club w/c found in south star i am so amazed, so come and visit this club.deliver excellent customer service take the time needed to understand the needs of their unique customer base.

The rooms look run down. Lights don't work. Food is very mediocre and apart from their smiles the restaurant staff look unprofessional. I ordered dinner and it took them about an hour to bring a cold and unsavory meal that is not typical of the food culture in Hawassa.

The stuff is friendly but the place is dirty. The bathrooms are the worst, there is a soap scum everywhere in the shower and the shower doors. The shower head is broken. The towels are so gross, some even have holes in them. I have no idea why they give that to customers and still call them selves a 5 star hotel. The bed sheets have stains and the pillow case is visibly dirty. I’m definitely not coming here again.

We had a great time with our team members for one night and they give 5 * Service and the restaurant,club was very amizing in hawassa we proud b/c of them service staff and all managment its recomended place in hawasa.

went on a trip with family and friends and cant be in a better place like this it exceed my expectation. loved the complimentary services like spa swimming pool steam sauna and the massage.. wonder full for family trip

stop using the word international. I lost my money from their safe and the management was so unprofessional in handling it. Their safe can be opened by all othe safes' keys and management confirmed that. Yet it was not willing to give me my money. If you are going, do it at your own risk.

this hotel is Number one hotel in Hawassa Ethiopia They have 114 rooms,14 international standard meeting hall,500 car parking aria ,stem and sauna ,message, seeming pool, café ,pastry shop International Night club bar, Different Ristorantes i like all services and staffs the hotel is four star hotel but the hotel is five star standard . I see all staff they are honest and they given to customer international service .

If you came to south star international hotel you make your night special. There is Amazing Night club and i enjoy it with my friends and then we rest After club on Family room and it is good at all . May be for the future i will comeback with my family. Come and visit!!!!!!!!
