The reception staff were helpful and very informative. Great facilities unable to be used as fully booked I definitely would stay longer than 1 night Breakfast and evening dinners were amazing, with a variety and vegetarian options which I was very pleased with and enjoyed.

The hotel is right by the beach, and you can see the bay from the window. Many foreigners are swimming or doing water sports. But the weather is too hot, so we can't go out and can only watch from the balcony.

Pavlo Napa Beach Hotel is located just outside the touristy Ayia Napa, 20 minutes walk and 10 minutes from Nissi beach. For a family with young children: great. There is sufficient (free) parking space. We had a renovated room, family room, with bunk beds for the children. A nice room with good beds and facilities. Bunk bed is also sufficiently long (I think 2 meters). Pavlo Napa has 2 buildings. The main building, which also houses breakfast/dinner and the swimming pool, and a separate building behind another hotel. we were in the detached building, less view, but certainly not annoying (less than 1 min walk). Swimming pool and sunbeds: top. Quiet pool, Sunbeds with thick cushions. well maintained. At the pool is also the playground and the children's pool (50cm deep). You can walk to the beach from the pool. The sunbeds on the beach are owned by the municipality and cost EUR 2.5. The hotel has a lunch restaurant at the pool/beach. good food and not too expensive (from the hotel with a 10% discount), but there are also other options nearby. We also found it an advantage that the restaurants in the area have a playground for children. fun for the kids and great for the parents. here too the prices for the food are not too high: an average of 12-17 euros for a dish. All in all had a great time..

On arrival late at night we were greeted by a friendly staff member who explained about the hotel but sadly no refreshments were available (after a five hour flight and hour and a half security wait). The room is quite modern with light control panels (with no instructions) if you press a certain button then the maid won't clean the room. On that subject, the maids don't clean the rooms well as much as tidy them. We've been here ten days and the sheets have not been changed although the towels are changed daily. The TV in the room only has international news channels which is a let down as most hotels now have access to a wider range of channels. It is a small hotel situated right on the beach and is a fifteen minute walk to Aya Napa. We have a side sea view room which is what it says in the brochure. The pool area has lots of comfy loungers with parasols so no need to reserve. The beach has lots of loungers and the sea is lovely and warm. The staff in the pool bar could do with a customer service course as a smile seems to be too much to ask when being served and the female lifeguard seems more interested in fashion and her phone than watching the pool. The food is good and every night has a different theme, again let down with some of the staff's lack of friendliness ( the two ladies being the exception). There is a good variety of food at all sittings. We noticed that the hotel seems to be under staffed and example is that the main bar is closed on a Monday as it's the barmans day off (he's a very nice chap). The hotel has an indoor pool and gym which were never open whilst we were here for some reason. The entertainment is poor and often late at night.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, Regarding your comments we respect them but we strongly disagree with them. Upon arrival a bottle of water was in the room offered to you. At the moment we do not provide refreshment's, maybe other hotels do. Light control panel it is very simple just press the button. Our maids are doing an excellent job. Please note sheets are changed every third day (it is impossible not to change the sheets for 10 days). Our Tv has national and international channels sorry if we don't have access to 2000 channels. Our staff is friendly and willing to assist with a smile and treat guests the same way guest treats them. Perhaps your attitude towards them was not the best one!! The hotel is not understaff your assumptions are completely wrong. For the indoor pool and gym please just push the door to open them. The entertainment is after dinner time, in case this is late for you we are sorry. Best regards
A J

During our recent stay at Pavlo Napa, we found our experience to be less than satisfactory. Despite its promising beachfront location, several aspects of our stay left much to be desired. The cleanliness of our room was a significant concern throughout our stay. Despite daily cleaning service, we consistently noticed areas that were overlooked, such as the sink surround and shower. The balcony, unfortunately, remained sandy and uncleaned for the entirety of our two-week visit. Additionally, the towels provided, while changed daily, appeared worn-out and tatty, not meeting the expected standards of a four-star establishment. While some staff members were friendly, a notable portion seemed indifferent and failed to provide a welcoming atmosphere. However, we appreciated Vernon, the night receptionist, who went above and beyond to assist us during a medical emergency. The pool bar staff were also pleasant, offering a bright spot amid an otherwise lackluster experience. The lifeguard often looked distracted. A particularly troubling issue was the hotel's policy of accepting cash only for room upgrades. This felt unprofessional and raised questions about the hotel's management practices .Though the manager proved helpful in resolving another issue we encountered. The food quality was satisfactory overall, though we found the options to be limited and repetitive. Fresh fruit choices were notably sparse, with canned pineapple being offered instead of fresh. This limited variety diminished our dining enjoyment over the course of our stay. Unfortunately, we also experienced an unsettling incident where we suspected items had gone missing from our room. Although we lacked concrete proof and chose not to report it, this added to our discomfort and overall dissatisfaction. In another incident, when my sister fell in the dining room, it was disheartening that not a single staff member inquired about her well-being or offered assistance beyond placing a wet floor sign. This lack of attentiveness to guest safety was concerning and marred our perception of the hotel's hospitality standards. Overall, our stay at Pavlo Napa Beach Hotel was underwhelming, and it fell short of our expectations. The lack of cleanliness, indifferent staff attitude, and various disappointments detracted from what should have been a relaxing vacation.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, Regarding the feedback of your recent stay at Pavlo Napa Beach Hotel we appreciate your detailed observations and we disagreed with some others. Regarding your concerns about cleanliness, we were surprised to read your comment as the cleaner responsible for your floor has been with us for over 20 years, and we have not previously received complaints about the quality of her work. Additionally, we ensure that all towels provided to our guests are new, as we have recently replenished our stock. We are pleased to hear about your positive experiences with Vernon and the pool bar staff. Regarding the policy for room upgrades, we confirm that cash payments were requested in accordance with the terms of the promotional discount applied to your booking. This policy aims to streamline transactions and ensure clarity for our guests, minimizing additional charges to the hotel. The hotel offers 14 different theme nights consisting of 4 different bread types, 20 hot items, 8 ready salads, 15 items on salad bar display, 6 fresh fruits and 5 different sweets. If sometimes some imported fruits are not available, then canned food can be offered as well. (Pineapple is imported in Cyprus) We take your feedback regarding the incident of missing items seriously. Please note that we have a lost and found procedure at the front desk for any items left in the hotel. In addition, safe boxes are provided free of charge so guest can place valuable items inside. Regarding the incident with your sister's fall, we are very concerned and alert as guest safety and security are paramount to us therefore sings and marks are place where is needed in hotel areas. It is really strange but nobody from the dining room sows your sister falling down otherwise the staff would have assisted her because this is what we do here. We assist our guest when needed or required.

There is always aprehension when booking a hotel. I think most people rely on 2 things to determine the quality of where they might be staying 1 - the price, more is better right? and 2 - Tripadvisor. The problem (i have found) with Tripadvisor is what one person considers a 5 star establishment, others might think of as a 3. I think we all read the bad reviews on the lead up to our holiday and get a bit concerned, but i think with the Pavlo Napa, this is one hotel where the poor reviews are really unjustified, this is a great Hotel, well deserving of the 4 stars its rated as. Its very modern, the bedrooms are obviously very new and have some great technology. Some parts of the hotel are older, but its not an issue, more charming than tatty. As an avid Gym goer, you generally end up having to work out in something poorly maintained with lots of broken equipment - I think this is one of the best hotel gyms i have used, plus the indoor pool was great for early evening swims. The location is great, far enough outside of the main town to be away from the hussle and bussle, but easily walkable. The biggest draw of the hotel is the location to the beach, you would be mistaken for thinking its part of the complex as you literally walk off the end of the pool area onto the sand. This was great as it often meant less people around the pool on loungers during the day. The food is excellent, often with Hotel buffets you have to accept its a bit poor at times, but this was a really high standard and had a great range. The most interesting part was the "snacks", you could order off a a la carte menu to have a burger made, much better than some poor sandwiches and dried up fruit that some places offer The staff are great, friendly and helpful. The all inclusive drinks were a bit "meh" as is often the case, plus you can only order one at a time. Mildly annoying, but we are not big drinkers so not too much of an issue. Overall, a real gem in Cyprus. There are lots of good hotels in the area, this is certainly up there with some of the better ones

After holidaying to the Pavlo Napa many times over the years with my wife prior to her passing away I returned in May for the first time as a solo guest. I was warmly welcomed back so I decided to return again at the beginning of October and I’m glad I did as I was again made to feel at home. I arrived late evening and checked in with Lucas on reception who welcomed me back and advised there was a sandwich and wine and fruit in my room as I had arrived after evening dinner. After unpacking I made my way down to the pool bar. As I was walking there Ivo, the manager of the lounge bar, saw me and came outside to greet me and welcomed me back with a big hug. I continued down to the pool bar and Timmi the bar manager said welcome back would you like your usual ? It was like I’d never been away. The next day I was greeted in the same manner by Costas the restaurant manager who although very busy in his role always found time to have a chat with me and when Costas wasn’t there Stratos took over looking after me. When I saw Stella at reception she invited me into her office to talk and ask how I was. It is because of the way the staff treat their guests why so many people regularly return. I would like to mention a lady who worked in the restaurant whose name Im sorry I can’t remember who noticed after a couple of nights that I was dining alone and started preparing a table for 1 in an area of the restaurant I often sat in. She was very nice and it was very thoughtful of her. There is nothing not to like at this hotel excellent clean accommodation, good variety of food and drink, beach on the doorstep to enjoy the glorious weather if you’re not a pool person and the friendly and hard working staff. Hopefully I will be returning next May.

This hotel was lovely, rooms were modern and spacious, food was plentiful, always a lot of choice, fresh and tasty. Good selection of drinks. Comfortable sun loungers and friendly staff. The pool area was nice, although I imagine peak season would be harder for space and beds. Rooms were cleaned daily. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Just returned from a week at the Pavlo Napa. So many positives but also a couple of negatives. Positives Rooms are modern, clean and spacious. Lots of storage space, aircon is great and the beds are comfy. Food is great, full of flavour and such a wide choice. We never struggled for options. Some dishes could be a little cold. Staff were quick to seat you, take drinks orders and clear away. The restaurant never felt rowdy or noisy even though it was busy. No issues getting sunbeds round the pool at any time of day but we found that we needed to move frequently as many areas became shaded due to the low, late summer sun and nearby buildings/trees. The pool was cool but bearable for the first couple of days but like an ice bath towards the end of our stay! The nearby beach has lovely soft sand and is well sheltered. The entrance to the sea nearest the hotel is rocky, you need to move further round the bay for a sandy way in. The first few days we found the sea quite weedy but it was much clearer towards the end of our week. Not our favourite beach in Ayia Napa but not the hotel’s fault. You can easily walk to Nissi beach along the coastal path. It’s a beautiful route and takes 10-15 minutes. Nissi beach is stunning but very busy, even towards the end of the season. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the edge of town and there are plenty of bars and restaurants on the way. The Hansel and Gretal dessert bar was amazing and reasonably priced. Getting around is easy with regular buses although we often used Bolt as a cheaper option to a taxi. Reception staff are lovely and really helpful. We requested a late check out and they were very accommodating. WiFi is decent and reaches the beach! Our teenage son was delighted. Lovely walk onto the rocks to watch the sunset each evening and to meet some of the many local cats. Negatives The hotel is the least environmentally conscious hotel we have stayed at for some years. Tiny single use plastic cups for drinks round the pool, plastic straws and staff refused to refill previously used cups. In the evening they supplied washable plastic cups so I am not sure why these are not an option during the day too. All towels are changed daily too, even when they are not left on the floor to be changed. Some of the pool bar staff are very abrupt when policing the all inclusive, others are just indifferent. Cocktails are made fresh to order and taste great but all drinks are very weak, even the paid for ones. The entertainment is very hit and miss with daytime activities changing or not happening. The evening was also often late and poor although we only stayed in the hotel for 2 of the evenings. Overall we had a great time and loved most things about the hotel but wouldn’t return due to the beach and the environmental concerns.

We came back for the second time to Pavlo Napa Hotel with our 8 year old daughter. This is the Perfect Place to be with Kids. Big Pool, direct Access to the sea at the Beautiful Sandy Bay. Lovley Beach Taverna with the best Staff and Fantastic Food. I Even got a deconstructed Village Salad. Clean Rooms and top Service. Thanks to Stella and Lukas and all the others, that made our Holiday so wonderful.

I had the privilege of staying at this wonderful hotel for a relaxful week with my Dad for my nephews wedding which was held 10 mins away at Nissi Beach. On arrival we were directed to our modern, clean, spacious room with a sea view and comfy beds. As it was 3pm we went to the restaurant and met the wonderful Kostas and was able to order an omelette. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the main bus route (101 and 102), a nice beach, has a fabulous array of fresh food and staff are great. Ok, the entertainment is a bit hit and miss at times but we were not exactly in high season. Pool area great and the comfiest of sun beds always available. Can’t wait to book again for next year! Highly recommended, perfect sized quality hotel. Thankyou Pavlo Napa 👍
