Goed hotel waar we een overnachting hebben gehad op weg naar Oostenrijk. Het is makkelijk aan te rijden en ligt gunstig ten opzichte van de snelweg. De kamers zijn ruim opgezet en schoon. Ook het restaurant heeft goede gerechten, echter is dit restaurant niet goedkoop. Het ontbijt wordt nog klassiek aan tafel geserveerd en dit is dus geen lopend buffet (leuke ervaring!). Al met al een keurig hotel en we komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!

Hier wird nur das Hotel bewertet, nicht der Brauereigasthof. Ein Wochenende in Aying, das ist pure Entspannung. Man merkt, dass hier eine alteingesessene Gastro-Familie ihren Service-Gedanken lebt und dies auch ihrem Personal verinnerlicht hat. Überall ausgesuchte Freundlichkeit, liebevolle Details, bestes Umsorgt-Sein. Und das wunderbare Frühstück am Platz rundet alles zum Besten ab. Freuen uns auf das nächste Mal

Ich bewerte hier ausschließlich das Essen im "Brauereigasthof Hotel Aying" (nicht der Biergarten samt dortigem Gasthaus): Die Preise sind schon sehr gehoben (z.B. Wiener Schnitzel vom Kalb mit Beilage zw. 40 und 45 Euro, je nach gewählter Beilage, welche extra zu bestellen und zu bezahlen ist), weshalb wir auch eine außergewöhnliche Qualität der Gerichte erwartet hatten. Ja, die Gerichte wiesen die für diese Preislage (leider) üblichen "Farbtupfer" und Kunstkreationen auf dem Teller auf, aber geschmacklich... --- leider durchwachsen. Teils gut (nicht sehr gut) und teils sogar nur mittelmäßig (z.B. roch das Schnitzel nach "Friteusen"-fett (ein absolutes No-go). Alles in allem: Wir vermissten die ehrliche "gut bürgerliche" Küche von früher und werden nicht mehr hingehen: Die Gerichte sind bei Weitem nicht gut genug und völlig überteuert. Schade! Der Service war übrigens sehr nett, aber alles hat hat sehr lange gedauert, obwohl nicht viel los war.

Undoubtedly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. I have been in the travel business for over 35 years, and have stayed at many hotels around the world. The service and friendliness at the Brauereigasthof-Hotel Aying was some of the best that I've ever encountered. The setting is unique, rustic, and displaying the best of Bavarian gemütlichkeit. A previous reviewer stated that this hotel was more of a destination than a hotel, and I concur wholeheartedly. I will gladly come back for a stay when I am back in the Munich area. Don't be put off by the distance that the hotel is from Munich. The hotel offers free transfer service to and from the S-Bahn (train) that takes you directly into the heart of Munich in less than 30 minutes, and also has tickets for the train for sale at the front desk. This hotel is a gem waiting to be discovered!
