Le Moulin de la Follaine

We stayed for a week at the mill to visit the castles of the Loire.. The accommodation is perfect, the welcome is the best.. the owners are present and available if necessary, but very discreet and very courteous..n Don't hesitate, go ahead...you won't regret..

We were passing through the Ile de Ré in August and spent a night at the Moulin de la Follaine. We really liked the Moulin, everything was very clean and the garden is magnificent. In the evening, we were able to have a picnic in the garden. Our hosts were very kind and warm. In addition, we had a very pleasant time when our host explained to us the functioning of the old mill which we can admire from the breakfast room. We recommend it without hesitation.

We were pleasantly welcomed in this superb property not far from the historic sites. The master suite, where we were staying, is located in the attic. Fortunately, the suite is air-conditioned. Accompanied by a young child, equipment suitable for babies was made available to us. For dinner, the host reserved a table for us nearby. In the morning a gourmet breakfast was served to us. If the opportunity arises, we will happily return.

Le Moulin is an exceptional place. The welcome matches the beauty of the place. Calm and serenity. We also feel the passion of the hosts for these places. Thanks to Sabine for her magnificent breakfast and to Jean-Luc for his availability. Cleanliness and taste are also there.. Sara and Simon

This mill is a jewel in an exceptional and magnificent setting.. A total change of scenery and refinement in the details.. Great breakfast and friendly owners who take care of you. A place where it was hard to leave...

Nestled in its green island, this water mill, whose origins date back to the 15th century, has everything to appeal to lovers of heritage and nature. The park, very well maintained, is simply splendid, both in the sun and in the rain. Walking there at dusk while listening to the many rustling sounds is a treat. The owners are charming and happily share the history of their home discovered after much research. Jean-Luc took the time to explain to us the operation and history of the mills. Sabine cooked us a delicious breakfast. Opening onto the garden, our room, Le Hérisson (namely an element of the mill even if hedgehogs must abound in the park), was very comfortable with impeccable sanitary facilities. The restaurant and sightseeing recommendations were perfect. We are delighted to have discovered this little paradise in the Indre valley, close to many Tourangeaux visiting sites.
