Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel am Rand von Bad Sooden. Restaurant war leider kurzfristig geschlossen. Zum Check -in war keiner da. Ausstattung überholungsbedürftig. Aber gutes Frühstück und nette Bedienung. Preis/Leistung ok. Nix für nen längeren Aufenthalt aber für ein Wochenende völlig in Ordnung.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Rand der Altstadt von Bad Sooden-Allendorf, so dass der Kurbereich fußläufig gut erreichbar ist. Die Zimmer sind teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise wurden offenbar Teilsanierungen gemacht, z.B. der Fußboden erneuert. Es erfolgte aber offensichtlich keine komplette Zimmersanierung. Duschvorhänge in einem 3-Sterne-Hotel gehen gar nicht. Eine schönere und hellere Spiegelbeleuchtung im Bad wäre ebenfalls wünschenswert. Bei Ankunft war der Aschenbecher auf dem Balkon noch voller Kippen und wurde während eines Wochenendaufenthaltes auch nicht geleert. Sehr gut war das Frühstücksbuffet mit viel frischem Gemüse, frisch gemachter Antipasti, großer Käseauswahl und frischem Obst. Beim Frühstück war das Personal auch sehr aufmerksam.

Hotel is good located in calm settings only a few minutes walk away from the central parts. Easy to park at hotels parking place. The room was a bit dated and some renovation is needed. Especially the bathroom needs some renovation, Bathtub with low waterpressure from shower. The room is relatively small with two chairs which wasn't comfortable. Breakfast was good. There is a small Bierstube which was very smoky.
