Best Bad Wiessee Spa Hotels

Location (lake front) and terrific staff made our experience first class. We spent Xmas and New Year at the hotel to 'get away from it all' and it proved a winner. Wiessee is an isolated spot with walking and 'chilling out' the only things to do. The hotel is popular with older Germans and watching them dance, sing and carouse at the New Year Gala Dinner was a treat. We liked the fact that we were the only Brits at the hotel. Most of the staff spoke good English. The hotel is also a spa with extensive amenities. Accessibility is not an issue with lifts to all floors. Travel tip. If you fly into Munich hire a car at the airport. A taxi to Wiessee is Euro 170 each way and the choice of hire cars at Weissee is not good (as could be expected in a rural area). The journey to the hotel is around 90 minutes.

We have been here several times! I have read the criticism points of the reviews. I have to write something about it. It is right that this hotel has some shortcomings, yet I have to say that despite the situation in recent years it was not easy to keep and improve a hotel and here the whole family is trying to do so. The wellness area has been re-designed and this is very well performed- even now running renovation work! For me the breakfast has succeeded,Our,Room in the neighborhood more like well with large balcony (Deluxe rooms)! Because there is no staff anywhere on the Tegern Lake, we are very happy with our stay again. That's why thank you very much!
