The hotel and is nice and clean. We had to checkout day early because of change of plan. Hotel staff told us they will provide full refund for 1 night. After checking out early we were told hotel didn't approve the refund.

Frühzeitig gebucht, Änderungen wurden leider nicht korrekt vermerkt. Unser Zimmer unterm Dach war ziemlich frisch renoviert und sehr geschmackvoll neu gestaltet. Die Matratzen sind allerdings recht weich und vermitteln das Gefühl, durchgelegen zu sein.Abends haben wir noch die Bar genutzt, der Service war freundlich und unaufdringlich. Das Frühstück war absolut ok, man kann sogar selbst frischen Orangensaft pressen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung.

Hotel ist sehr gut, hat aber leider offensichtlich mit Personalmangel zu kämpfen.
Bei der Buchung wurden die Reinigungsintervalle nicht erwähnt. Bei der Ankunft stellten wir per Aushang im Aufzug fest, dass die Reinigungsintervalle vom Hotel auf alle 3 Tage festgelegt wurde. Auf ausdrückliche Nachfrage bekamen wir aber täglich einen "schnellen" Zimmerreinigungsservice.
Restaurant ist sehr gut.
Exzellentes Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl.

Wir bei Sonne aber ca. 4 Grad bei einem Spaziergang um das Zwischenahner Meer auf der Terrasse mit Meerblick eingekehrt und hatten einen geschützten Sonnenplatz am Haus gefunden. Kurz nachdem wir bestellt hatten, ging der einzige winzige Lautsprecher über unserem Tisch an und versorgte uns mit der üblichen Dudelmusik, die niemand braucht. Auf unsere Bitte den Lautsprecher wieder aus zu stellen, wurde uns von der freundlichen Kellnerin wenig Hoffnung gemacht. Sie werde den Chef (den Junior der Eignerin Kolb) fragen. Es passierte kommentarlos nichts. Der junge Mann lief dort zwar rum, sagte aber nichts. Wir setzten uns um - da war es ruhig und auch sonnig, aber windig und kalt. Jedenfalls behielt der Junior seine Musik !

Dieses Hotel ist recht in die Jahre gekommen, was überall (vor allem im Treppenhaus) zu sehen ist. Entsprechend schäbig war unser Zimmer, aus jeder Ecke müffelten die 80er Jahre. Unangenehm fiel uns auch die Rezeption auf: sprödes bis abweisendes Verhalten, nicht das, was ein Hotel braucht. Auf der Plusseite des Hauses sind die Lage (direkt am See), das kostenlose Parken vor dem Haus, ein hinlänglich guter Saunabereich und ein abwechslungsreiches Frühstück. Unser Hund fühlte sich auch wohl, denn rund ums Haus gibt es viel Grün, viel Auslauf und Wanderwege.
