Palaisdaan Hotel and Restaurant

We spent two nights at this hotel, one on the way there and one on the way back. We had two different rooms. It seems the information on the website doesn't match the price we paid. On the way there, this huge hotel was empty. The night porter put us in a decent room with a shower (but no hot water) and air conditioning. In the morning, we discovered a very pleasant, green setting. However, we insisted on having breakfast as mentioned in the reservation. We were told we had been upgraded. On the way back, it was a Saturday night, and there was a big party with loud music, but it stopped around 11 PM. This didn't bother us. However, upon arrival, we were put in a room without a shower or toilet. I had to insist again that my booking confirmation stated the reserved room had a shower. We were then moved to a different room, and we even had hot water. The next morning, breakfast was included, but we were told that we had to pay for our hot drinks. This hotel is well located as it breaks up the drive from Manila to Banuae. The hotel should review its website listings to avoid problems like the one we experienced upon arrival and the resulting tension. I recommend this place because the setting is beautiful.
