La Jolla Luxury Beach Resort

Great stay!

Nice resort for these parts of bataan. Like a mini anvaya.

Spent 4D/3N at this resort with my partner. Check in was a breeze, rooms were in villas that are located a bit away from the main lobby so a resort shuttle picked us up and dropped us off right outside our villa (Magnolia villa). The room itself (Room 402) was clean and well appointed. Everything was working and in order, except the keycard holder which was a bit loose, we had to insert 2 keycards (we were given 3) so that the electricity in our room wouldn’t fluctuate. The beach was nice and clean, greyish sand with some pebbles and small corals in some parts of the water, but nothing that can’t be solved by wearing aqua shoes. The waters are clear and calm, no big waves, as the resort itself is in a cove. Like other reviews said, there are 3 pools: the main pool which was also open to day-trippers, an infinity pool, and a more private pool with jacuzzi near the villas which is for the exclusive use of in-house guests. There was one main restaurant by the beach with a good variety of menu offerings, and the servings were quite big enough for 2 people. Another restaurant by the main lobby served buffet breakfast with a decent spread and a good rotation of breakfast offerings. There was also a pool bar by the infinity pool serving drinks and light snacks. Other F&B outlets were closed during our stay, maybe due to the occupancy rate at the time we were there, but we were informed that we can actually reserve a spot at the Molave restaurant if we were in the mood for a more intimate dinner. Service is good, everyone from front office to housekeeping, to pool attendants and restaurant servers were attentive and personable. We will definitely be back and bring along some friends as well.

Recommended for families that wants privacy. Ongoing construction for more amenities. Beach and infinity pool. Obstacle course for company outing. Very friendly staff. Lots of parking space. Free shuttle service. Beach activities. Lots of recreation for childrens.

Rooms are great, extra bed while a bit springy did the job. Beach was nice, clean, and the vibes were nice. Staff was friendly and consistently helpful. Grounds were well kept. Experiences were nice, dinner was served promptly and waitstaff were attentive, food was tasty and well-balanced.

Arrived in Manila a few days early for a professional event and was treated to an escape at La Jolla Luxury Beach Resort. This hidden gem is a must for those who want to experience a secluded, private, charming oasis within a short drive from Manila. Celebrated my birthday here. They learned about my birthday and surprise me with a cake. The owners and all their staffs are super friendly. The beach is clean and beautiful. Rooms are big and clean but not overpriced. Planning our next vacation here. Thank you

Great place for respite. The food at restaurants was great. The service from every staff at resort was amazing. Offers kayaking, jet ski, snorkeling, paddle boarding for additional cost. Very hospitable and the grounds were beautiful. May need some new lounge chairs by ocean. The inclining seat backs were all broken so you can only lay and not sit up. Entertainment at beach dinner was excellent. Singers that were very talented

To start, if you are looking for a beach resort getaway with friendly staff, great food, clean rooms and a beautiful beach, book here, you will not be disappointed. We booked a single night at La Jolla as we were looking for a relaxing night away before flying out to Siargao. As we are staying with family in Balanga it was an ideal option that was nearby. Check in was easy, our room was ready early and it was clean and well kept. The beach is beautiful, plenty of sun loungers and places to escape the heat. We had great food at Mango Grove. We also had a massage at the spa and were lucky to experience the La Jolla Signature massage which was incredible, we've been fortunate enough to have experienced dozens of massages around the world and this topped them all. (Irmalyn and Jane were amazing). We were sad we only had time for one night this time around but we'll be sure to book for much longer next year when we return to the Philippines.
