Beautiful natural setting in the jungle with optional hiking. The owner was helpful in setting up activities. The breakfast was large and delicious. They make chocolates from their farm!

An idyllic spot close to Bijagua and the Tenorio Volcano National Park. A great place to stay on our first nights in Costa Rica, about an hour and twenty minutes from the Liberia airport. Our cottage was perfect, very comfortable, exceptionally clean, in a lovely setting. Delicious breakfasts! Cecile is a wonderful host! Thank you! A truly pura vida experience. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here, for two nights, as a family of four - in Pelicano. We had a lovely time - and Cecile and family looked after us really well. They were incredibly attentive hosts. On both mornings we had our morning tea on the patio as hummingbirds visited the bush next to us. We especially enjoyed the breakfasts, with homemade bread and locally produced jams. Not to mention the fantastic bean-to-bar chocolate from their homegrown cacao. The location was great, a short distance to Tenorio Volcano Park, Rio Celeste and more. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had an excellent stay in this B&B. The location is amazing in the middle of the nature, very quiet.
The breakfast is great and the recommendation for local tour are very helpful.
In addition it is possible to order diner from the city that will be served in their dining room.
It was extremely convenient.

We absolutely loved the place. Family run and super friendly. Beautiful property with lots of wildlife.

Absolutely fabulous! Loved watching all the toucans and macaws from our open front porch. The breakfast was also amazing with freshly cut fruit and homemade bread. Celine gave amazing recommendations on places around the area to visit and explore. We never had a dull moment here.

Gorgeous finca with individual bungalows for each group. The family that runs this gem, built it from the ground up and everything is just divine. It was a fabulous stay

Absolutely everything! Mei Tai is an incredible gem in Costa Rica that should be visited by all tourists who are caring and thoughtful enough to recognize what Costa Rica is all about. Cecile and her family go out of their way to make your experience incredibly comfortable and relaxing. She takes the time from the moment you drive onto the property to personalize your stay. The piece of advice we have is listen to absolutely everything that she says. Bijauga is relatively untouched by tourists compared to some of the major attractions in Costa Rica and we hope it stays that way. Thank you so much for the opportunity to stay with you! PS – try the orange bananas. They will rock your world.
