High level of service, located in the old town of Bagan. The river view is super beautiful. In fact, this is the oldest hotel in Bagan, which has been in operation since the socialist period. Later other hotels were not allowed to operate in this old town. There are two or three pagodas in the hotel, which are full of mysterious and ancient colors, a bit like a garden hotel, and there are also ancient buildings from the 11th century.

Housekeeping service lis good but the bathrooms are old and dingy. The quality of the food is not that great, the food runs out quickly and takes a while to top up. Hotel should be plan accordingly to ensure that the food is always refilled. I was charged for hot water with lemon which I had requested during dinner. When I queried about the charge, I was told it was because I ordered room service which is not the case as the hotel provides tea making facilities in the room. This really leaves an unpleasant feeling after spending a lot at the hotel. I would not recommend the hotel to business travellers nor its a good place to hold events.

River view suit is spacious and accessaries are luxarious. Breakfast is teasty. Landscaping is grate leaving large area of open space to enjoy sunset. Service is knowing their work well. Warm water is quick. Can see birds as well. Seat small birds come to fetch breakfast.

Good place to stay. The breakfast was over the top!!! excellent. The service in the room and desk for scooters, etc was great. Pool was a bit warm but awesome view over the garden and river. The spa service was very good and relaxing as well.
