Hotel Udsigten Marstal

The beds were great, I have never had such good mattresses in a hotel before. The rooms are simply but functionally furnished, the bathroom is Danish simple. The food is great, if you go out to eat in the evening, the quality and taste are unique. The terrace is great with a view of the Baltic Sea, simply priceless.

Charming hotel in a quiet neighborhood in the first row to the water, 5 minutes' walk from the harbor Marstal. The building has been run down, but is being renovated and it looks good! Inside, it is very clean, there are small cozy nooks with a good chair or a soft sofa, and everywhere there is a view of the sea. The hallway we stayed in also had access to an area with a dining table, sofa, kettle, mugs and plates. Several beautiful old pieces of furniture decorated the wide corridor, which gave a cozy and homely atmosphere. Our room was large and spacious with a double bed, desk and sofa. The beds are good elevation beds. The bathroom is spacious, but there is a lack of storage space in the shower niche and at the sink. The interior of the restaurant is bright, light and exactly as it should be in a summer hotel. The morning sun shines through the windows and again there is a view of the sea. The breakfast includes what it should: rye bread, warm rolls, crisp bread, eggs, cheese and cold meats and a little sweet to finish. The hotel's owner/manager/staff is very present and welcoming, regardless of whether it applies to the hotel and its offers or help to find your way around the island. We would love to come again another time and I'm sure it will be a fantastic place when the renovation is finished.

It shouldn't have the status of a hotel, rather b-b, very boring interior design and no TV in the rooms, but a really nice view

Top location, but there was nothing on board and breakfast and no elevator idea of ​​operation, and we had to stay on the second floor.

Fantastic location down to the water, very nice garden with fine garden furniture. Inside very clean and good beds. The house was run down, but under renovation. I'm sure it will be a great place if enough sacrifices are made in the renovation. The breakfast was perfectly fine, with the usual good breakfast products. Very sweet and accommodating service by the hotel manager.
