Charming hotel in a quiet neighborhood in the first row to the water, 5 minutes' walk from the harbor Marstal.
The building has been run down, but is being renovated and it looks good! Inside, it is very clean, there are small cozy nooks with a good chair or a soft sofa, and everywhere there is a view of the sea. The hallway we stayed in also had access to an area with a dining table, sofa, kettle, mugs and plates. Several beautiful old pieces of furniture decorated the wide corridor, which gave a cozy and homely atmosphere.
Our room was large and spacious with a double bed, desk and sofa. The beds are good elevation beds. The bathroom is spacious, but there is a lack of storage space in the shower niche and at the sink.
The interior of the restaurant is bright, light and exactly as it should be in a summer hotel. The morning sun shines through the windows and again there is a view of the sea. The breakfast includes what it should: rye bread, warm rolls, crisp bread, eggs, cheese and cold meats and a little sweet to finish.
The hotel's owner/manager/staff is very present and welcoming, regardless of whether it applies to the hotel and its offers or help to find your way around the island.
We would love to come again another time and I'm sure it will be a fantastic place when the renovation is finished.
