We received a stay at Casa Ruffino as a 50th anniversary gift and it was perfect. There are less than ten rooms at the resort and it seems that all the staff knew we were coming- what a pleasant way to start! Arriving mid-morning, we had a vineyard/winery tour and tasting hosted by the heralded Alexander before heading to Ruffino's sister property- Castle Montemasso- for a cooking lesson and lunch. WOW- what a wonderful time. With the guidance of Gianna and Ilya we prepared a great meal and then dined in the castle hall. We drank a nice prosecco while in the kitchen and then, over lunch, Alexander led us thru three more of Ruffino's wines, including a delicious Vin Santo with almond biscuits right out of the oven. Over the next two days we ate like royalty at the gourmet Tre Rane restaurant on site, relaxed, walked around the vineyards and sipped more wine.

Tenuta meravigliosa, circondata dalla vigne, a pochi passi da Firenze. Edifici ristrutturati benissimo, rispettando lo stile e l’anima del luogo. Bellissimo l’aperitivo sotto gli alberi, e ottima la cena al ristorante. Vini super! Ci tornerò.

Sono stata ospite dell'agriresort per il mio compleanno con la mia famiglia, abbiamo preso il pacchetto "tutto il gusto di Ruffino",che comprendeva il pernottamento, una degustazione completa, la visita nella cantina e la cena al ristorante "le 3 rane". La degustazione è stata una scoperta sensazionale...i vini erano uno più buono dell'altro e il sommelier era preparatissimo e accogliente, la cantina era stupenda, la cena presso il ristorante è stata molto bella e curata in ogni piccolo dettaglio, i camerieri sono stati cortesi e disponibili per allietare la nostra cena! La camera era bellissima e confortevole, colazione abbondante. Un'esperienza da mille e una notte...una favola ad occhi aperti! Grazie di tutto!

De los mejores lugares que he estado en Toscana. Una maravilla de hotel, pocas habitaciones en una casa Toscana con mezcla de antiguo y moderno. Habitaciones amplias, camas cómodas y muy limpio. Personal muy amable, dispuestos a hacer de nuestra estadía un verdadero descanso. Aprovechamos la piscina, las vistas preciosas , cenamos en el restaurant al aire libre bajo el jardín con música preciosa de fondo en vivo y almorzamos en el restaurant , todo delicioso e hicimos el tour de vinos. Repetiría muchas veces , de verdad vale la pena no perdérselo.

Fantastic resort. Absolutely incredible food and service. Only “complaint” is that the property is quite far from the town of Florence so you’re limited in what other options for dining or activities are available

Clean, looks and smells fresh. We were more relaxed upon arrival in the rain when Francesco welcomed us warmly and helped with suitcases to get up the stairs. We slept well helped no doubt by the quiet surroundings and clean rooms. Breakfast was included with eggs made to order. Staff at the enoteca could’nt understand English as we tried to taste n but a bottle for the dinner on site. Same wine fetched 50€ more in the restaurant on-site compared with the wine shop which featured a Xmas sale.
