Golden Pineapple Villas-Adults Only

This is the perfect place to relax and be peaceful, The staff was extraordinary, the food and drinks delicious, the views vegetation and Nature splendid !!! The resort blends perfectly with its surroundings, the view of the ocean is magnificent!!! I highly recommend this place !!!

Great stay

Our stay at the golden pineapple was wonderful. My husband and I love to travel to new countries and hotels. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The drive up to the hotel does require a 4x4 vehicle. However, we did not view this as a negative. Nothing amazing comes easy! The views were spectacular and actually enticed to want to stay at the resort which says a lot as we typically prefer to leave each day. The food was great. And service was even better! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The previous negative reviews have unrealistic expectations or blame this property for things out of their control. I would definitely come back again and encourage anyone to stay here when visiting CR. So much to do nearby! Thank you Jessie for a wonderful experience.

This was an amazing experience. The staff were responsive, professional, and friendly. The food was delicious and the included breakfast was exceptional. We have a perfect view of whale tale beach both from the common area and our private balcony. I highly recommend!

I planned our trip to Costa Rica by looking for the best boutique hotel with individual pools in each room. I didn't know what part of the country to visit so I just narrowed down my options this way. As soon as I saw Golden Pineapple Villas I knew this was where we were spending my husband's 50th birthday! And what a great choice it turned out to be! The room was EVERYTHING I had hoped for and more! Our first night there we got in late and I ran a hot bath in the outdoor tub and listened to the night creatures all around. Amazing. Not only was the room fantastic, but everyone who works at GPV is absolutely wonderful. We left there friends with Leo, Marlon, Pedro, and Marlon 2.0 and hope to make it back there again! And if they get to AZ they better reach out! We own a RZR so the road up/down was not bad for us at all, although we did rent a 4x4. The town of Uvita was exactly what we had hoped. Not touristy but not dead. We found some amazing bars/restaurants with the kindest people. We were able to book 2 tours right out of Uvita - Corcovado with Ballena Tours, and Cano Island with Dolphin Tours - and both were fantastic! We also booked the Sierpe Mangrove tour with Kokopelli, which we had to drive to but was so worth it. We enjoyed at least one breakfast, lunch, and dinner at GPV and the chefs (Gregory and Emanual - if memory serves) were really great. The view from the bar/restaurant is stunning and provides a view of the whale's tail. It is not a party hotel. It is quite laid back and relaxing. A true gem.

Beautiful property. Villas are private and very well appointed. My only suggestion is to stock up on groceries so you can make your own meals if you want to. The kitchens have everything you need to do so. Amazing property and amazing staff!

The stay was fantastic, the food was fresh and delicious. The view absolutely gorgeous. The privacy of our villa was the perfect experience. The service was on point. Definitely a highlight in our trip. The only negative I can say was the drive to the villas. The roads are unpaved for about 15min. Very bumpy and steep roads. Highly dont recommend arriving there at night. Other than that, it was amazing !

Great for birdwatching and wonderful cuisine. Private setting for relaxing and being at peace with nature and great ocean views

The Golden Pineapple Villas was an absolutely FANTASTIC stay and we will be recommending to all of our family and friends traveling solo or as couples (as it is quite romantic). The customer service was outstanding and made you feel like you were right at home. There are only 7 villas which allows you to get to know the staff very well. We didn’t want to leave and will without question be back! A major highlight is the food and drinks. Everything we ate and drank was amazing and the restaurant is not open to the public so it was a major perk of our stay. It was our favorite place to dine and where we ended up eating most of our meals. The villas and view are breathtaking. Nothing short of the beautiful pictures featured on the website. The staff also helped us book a tour to Corcovado which was so helpful. Can’t wait to visit again!
