Be advised that this place is run down and poorly managed. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Gardner/ doorman/ handyman/ bellboy, whom asked us to wait so he could take 10 minutes to retrieve a cart to help us with our bags. We were led to an office/lobby with bug eaten cat hair covered furniture, to check in and asked by the attendant for proof our reservation. I provided our prepaid reservation info. She insisted that my reservation was invalid and I needed to pay a cash deposit until the reservation showed up in her system. Checked into dilapidated room #1, where the fridge, when plugged in sent sparks flying. Then to the replacement room which stinks of humidity and is run down. From the grounds, to the service, to the habitations. This is not and should never bear the name “Resort” in its title. Well maybe “last resort”. Until now, I have never written a bad review. Just felt it necessary to warn anyone who might consider this place.
