Sehr in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt. Das Badezimmer riecht nach Zigarettenrauch, auf meine Bescheerde hin wurde nichts unternommen. Leider lässt die Sauberkeit auch sehr zu wünschen übrig: mein Tisch wurde zwei Tage lang nicht abgewischt beim Essen.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt im Hotel Schliffkopf und sind offen gesagt ein wenig verwundert über die ein oder andere Bewertung hier. Zugegeben die Zimmer sind nicht die Neuesten, aber sehr sauber, groß und sie verfügen über einen fantastischen Ausblick. Zudem bietet das Hotel mit dem großen Pool- und Wellnessbereich so viel, dass man sich auch eigentlich recht wenig auf dem Zimmer aufhält. Das Frühstück ist wirklich toll und verfügt über ein riesiges Angebot. Das Abendessen wurde jeden Abend als Menü serviert, war schmackhaft und toll angerichtet. Der Service im gesamten Haus ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommen. Einzig die Beleuchtung auf dem Parkplatz bei Nacht ist etwas dunkel.

Stayed one night during the snowstorms of 2023 that shut down large parts of southern Germany and the service and hospitality we received at this hotel were unapparelled. We stayed here just as an overnight after driving all day from Austria but it was one of the most memorable nights on our driving trip around Germany and Austria. Highly recommend!

Wir waren nach 21 Jahren mal wieder im Hotel Schliffkopf und leider hat sich nur sehr wenig geändert seit dem. Unser Zimmer war alt und abgenutzt und die Betten durchgelegen. Auch in der Saunawelt hat sich kaum etwas geändert. Alles etwas altbacken und verbraucht. Wir waren enttäuscht. Das Essen war ok . Das Personal war sehr nett und bemüht. Die Wallboxen zum Laden unseres E- Autos leider nicht funktionsfähig. Preis-Leistung hat hier für uns leider nicht gestimmt.

Früher waren wir Stammgäste, waren aber einige Jahre nicht mehr im Schwarzwald. Umso grösser der Schock als wir dieses Jahr einen Kurzurlaub im Schliffkopf geniessen wollten. Früher gab es drei Vorspeisen zur Auswahl zzgl Salatbuffet, 5 Hauptspeisen wovon immer mindestens 1 regionales Gericht dabei war und 2 Desserts. Und Alles in Top-Qualität. Jetzt jeden Tag Suppe ohne Alternative, 3 Hauptgerichte und ein Dessert. In den 4 Tagen unseres Aufenthalts wurde 2 mal ein anderes Fleisch serviert als angekündigt, am ersten Tag war das Essen kalt. Von der vorherigen Sterneküche hat man sich meilenweit entfernt. Beim Frühstück wurden vegane Salami und Käse angeboten. Da aber kein veganer Gast im Haus war, ist der Käse vertrocknet und hatte am 4. Tag unschöne Formen angenommen. Fertigportionen Butter sowie Margarine hatten das Ablaufdatum schon überschritten, die Fertigbrötchen nur geringfügig aufgebacken, waren des öfteren noch kalt bis gefroren im Innern. An der Rezeption wurden unsere Beschwerden zwar entgegengenommen und als „Entschuldigung“ hätten wir einen Drink in der Bar zu uns nehmen können… Positiv war der Wellnessbereich. Die Buchungen haben alle hervorragend geklappt und die Behandlungen waren sehr professionnel und in einer freundlichen, entspannenden Atmosphäre. Fazit: Leider entspricht das Hotel überhaupt nicht mehr dem versprochenen Standard und ist für die erbrachten Leistungen überteuert.

Fantastic location in the middle of the national park with a wide view of the black forest. The formerly family-run hotel has been acquired recently by new owners which resulted into some changes - not for the better yet. The personnel has changed also - the new team has not yet reached the same level of attention, of caring and effectiveness - fortunately, the great wellness and fitness team is still the same! The food is of OK quality but outstanding as it used to be.
