Hyatt Place Bakersfield

Had a comfortable stay at Hyatt Place during my business trip. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the service was commendable. However, the breakfast options could use improvement for a more satisfying start to the day.

Everything good, room clean, bedding set and towels still look new. The room's price ok and include breakfast for 6 persons. Near Gas station and mini market. Worthy for families. Will be here again 😊

The hotel is near the CSU Bakersfield campus. I appreciate that there is a mall across from the hotel with Albertson's and Trader Joe's among other fast food and eateries. I had to stop by Albertson's late at night... I should also mention that it is located on Coffee (a main arterial) so I can hear traffic but it's not bad at all; it certainly beat the other hotel which was near a railroad track with trains blasting screaming whistles. The Hyatt Place offers clean comfortable rooms. There was lots of space in the room to move around and a comfortable table with lots of open area on the table (I put up a 24" monitor next to my laptop) and chair to do some office work. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice staff greets you coming and leaving. Yes, I'd definitely come back here again.

The front desk staff were incredible and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

The rate at this hotel is in the medium price level. There are many choices that are less expensive with the same or better service. This hotel had no housekeeping for our room for most of our 8 day stay. We had to request new towels at the front desk. After 4 pm, there was only 1 person working the front desk. This person also had to serve drinks at the bar, cook food orders, check people in, etc. The breakfast provided each morning was fantastic. Front desk personnel were friendly and smiling. Our overall rating of mediocre at best. There are better hotels at much less price.

On our way from Las Vegas to Monterey, we decided to stay in Bakersfield. Hyatt Place was in an easily accessible location, the staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. The room was comfortable, the bed new, clean and comfy. The breakfast was tasty and had a large assortment to choose from. We stayed here on our way back from Monterey as well and would stay here again.

Room is nice, king bed TV 55" the person that checked me in also, was the bartender and chef very nice friendly very professional. Bathrooms are large and for some strange reason the phone is on the desk 12 ft from the bed. Lots of food near by has swimming pool I will be back.

This hotel was great and very accessible to the college that I was attending my graddaughter's graduation.

Miss Q, was welcoming and very happy and up beat. My husband and I came with my 3 kids and she was so kind and patient. Made us feel so welcome and cared for! Wish the whole staff was like this. Food was great and always nice and warm. Also missy was seen attending to us the same as everyone else!
