Days Inn by Wyndham Bakersfield

The parking lot is large and easy to find, which is a plus. We rented two rooms for two couples. The room was clean, but the bathroom was very dirty, and you could find hairs in it from the previous occupant. The bedspread had a wine stain from the previous occupant. The room reeked of cigarettes. Breakfast consisted of just a few pre-made oatmeal bags, two tea bags, a few bars, and orange juice. The coffee machine worked, and the coffee was quite tasty. There wasn't even a single croissant. The property has two buildings - one has WiFi, the other doesn't (the one further from the reception). There is no kettle, mug, or microwave in the room. The cling film under the sheets rustled like a baby's crib. The air conditioning is loud and efficient. In the second room, we had to ask for help turning on the shower because the water wouldn't come out, but the staff helped. Thank you very much. I need to consider whether it's worth staying overnight. I didn't like it. It was one of the worse accommodations, but it was also cheap.
