Hopeless, worst, check inn time is 3 o’clock but we got the room at 4:30, torn bedsheets, torn pillow covers, washroom showers were broken, there was continuous issue of hot water in washroom. Hotel denied to repair or change the room as the property was full. Pathetic service. Worst experience.

Azerbaijan is a wonderful confluence of the erstwhile USSR, Europe and Arab richness. People are friendly. The city is blessed with cool winds, natural beauty, technological innovation and beautiful people. Great places of historical, natural and modern significance, most of which will impress you a lot. I visited Baku with friends and engaged a private van instead of joining the SIC (Bus) bandwagon. We wanted that flexibility, hence paid about 15% extra - it was a great idea as we could stretch our time per our convenience. Our visits primarily included Baku city tour, Old Baku+Nizami street, Baku Boulevard, Little Venice, Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, Upland Park (Highland Park) and Flame Towers, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, Gobustan/Mud volcanoes, Shahdag (with optional entertainment rides), Ateshgah Fire Temple & Yanardag Fire Mountain. Indian food is available aplenty at many restaurants across Baku. If you are a vegetarian, you might miss the typical Indian breakfast, but you will still be able to manage relatively well. Most establishments accept cards, would suggest to keep some limited amount of AZN/USD in case a need arises.. Else, cards should suffice. We were able to survive the entire 5 day trip with a forex-plus card and USD 50/- in cash (incl some shopping for chocolates and local trinkets/mementos) Last, language is a major hurdle as most folks speak/understand only Azaerbaijani or Russian. English is a major obstacle. Recommend usage of translator apps. Baku also has a decent nightlife with eateries, restaurants, night-clubs remaining open long into the night. Wish you a great vacation and hope you enjoy Baku's beauty!

Reading in the description that this is a five star hotel is a biggest joke : Pros 1. Room size is just right 2. They have a supermarket in front for all our basic necessities. 3. Breakfast has a decent spread Cons 1. Reception staff was absolutely arrogant in responding right from check in. 2. All the linen in the room was absolutely shabby 3. Once I missed to give the room key and the room housekeeping was not done. On inquiry they said they did not have the key. I dont know of any hotel in the world where the housekeeping staff does not have a spare key. 4. Housekeeping was not upto mark at all. BAsic items were not replaced. Something as simple as a soap dish was missing and the wet soap used to slip around the basin area. 5. Entire bathroom was leaking. The shower room doors did not have sealing materials, the shower used to spray water everywhere except on you. Post a bath the entire bathroom floor used to be wet and remain wet till housekeeping was done. 6. My friends room AC fan made a continous noise due to which he could not switch the AC. On complaints for all the above, it was told that they would be catered to immediately with nothing happening over our five days stay. On requesting for a room change it was informed that the entire hotel is booked. 7. The breakfast was very repetitive. Calling it an Indian breakfast with only one or two Indian items and sometimes none was a joke. Again the Indian items kept were lunch items and not breakfast food. Overall not a very happy stay and would not recommend at all.

Atlas Hotel Baku, a good budget hotel located neither too far nor too close to Old Baku/Nizami street. However, there are many clubs and cafés (including a nightclub right in its basement) near it. What I liked: 1. The staff is very customer service oriented. 2. The breakfast buffet is more than adequate. You will get a wide range of foods there. They have ample options to cater to Indians too. The bakery section of the buffet is amazing. 3. Good rooms! I got a suite room and it was very spacious. 4. There is 24X7 supermarket right opposite the hotel. It was a lifesaver. From currency exchange, fruits, beverages, snacks to baked goods, they have it all. 5. Do not get SIM card from airport. The reception offers affordable data plans with local SIM cards (physical SIM, not eSIM). What can be improved: 1. The spa area/gym area was not very well maintained. 2. The room had a vinegar-ish odour. However, the staff was courteous to provide a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was lovely. 3. In the breakfast buffet, some egg dishes were kept under the vegetarian counter. It needs to be looked at seriously. 4. The pool area was not very appealing. 5. The hotel reception does not offer eSIM which was a hassle. 6. Majority of the staff does not know English so you will need a translator app frequently. Only the staff deputed at the reception is fluent in English. Overall, I will recommend this hotel for a good, comfortable and budget friendly stay.

Hi, the hotel atlas was completely booked and they have no rooms and on top of that they did not get any booking request from mm t or your local vendor. I confirmed the same with the manager at the reception. And conveyed the same to your customer service representative. So pols help with the full refund. I had to go through a lot of issues in getting myself a new room booked at the higher price. As most of the properties in bake this time is running full. Hope you understand and help me in this matter and issue full refund asap.
