"The most fortunate choice for my trip to Nan'ao Island was the Ibis Styles Ocean View Hotel. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was perfect – I have to give it a shout-out!
The hotel's location is absolutely amazing, nestled halfway up a mountain in Qing'ao Bay. While the road up is a bit hilly, it's wide and easy to navigate, so passing other cars isn't a problem. Plus, the parking lot is free and spacious. We were instantly captivated by the ocean view room – a 180° unobstructed sea view! We could watch the sunrise from our bed in the morning and fall asleep to the sound of the waves at night. The rooftop observation deck offers panoramic views of the entire bay; every shot is a masterpiece!
The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The King Koil bedding was super comfortable, and the room was fully equipped with a 55-inch screen TV, a smart toilet, a separate shower and toilet, plenty of hot water, a mini-fridge, and a smart voice system – the attention to detail was impeccable! The gym and laundry room in the common areas were also very useful. The laundry service even thoughtfully labeled the bags with our room numbers, so we didn't have to worry about anything. The dining experience was a delightful surprise. The restaurant boasts floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic ocean views while you dine – a truly soothing experience. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse, featuring both Chinese and Western options. The freshly cooked beef rice noodles were a taste of authentic Chaoshan street food – absolutely addictive! The hotel is also just a few minutes' walk from Qing'ao Bay beach, and there are plenty of seafood stalls nearby, making dining and sightseeing convenient.
Compared to other seaside hotels on the island, the price here is incredibly affordable. In the off-season, you can enjoy this quality for just over 300 RMB per person, making it excellent value for money. It's perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nan'ao Island!"

This was definitely the hotel I was most looking forward to on the whole trip!
It truly didn't disappoint—and this isn't just a fake review!!!
From the butler's service and breakfast to the overall stay experience, everything was meticulously planned.
Even this detail-oriented person was won over!
The fridge had drinks, the table had fruit, the toilet had a seat cover, the bathtub had a cover, and there was even body lotion. They even provided a huge bottle of drinking water, and so on… The floor was spotless even when I was barefoot. The toiletries had a refreshing bergamot scent (such a relaxing smell!). Sleeping on the second floor with the window open, listening to the rustling of the leaves in the wind, and watching the children playing happily… maybe this is what happiness is all about. ^_^

AAnonymous UserThis hotel was the best find of our trip, amazing! First off, the location is fantastic; it's just 500-800 meters to MixC, Suning, and Longyan South Road, all within walking distance. Secondly, the hotel lobby features a Rolls-Royce, which my son absolutely loved. There's also a gym and a swimming pool, with a separate deep end (1.4m) and a shallow kids' area (0.5m), so the little ones had a blast. Plus, the hotel service is outstanding: they provide everything you could possibly need, like bed rails, latex pillows, disposable bath liners, early check-in, and late check-out. Every aspect of our stay was wonderful!

MM40647****It's super convenient to order takeout here, and it's just a short walk to the beach or the promenade for food and sightseeing. The suite we booked with our child was very convenient and even offered a sea view. The guesthouse has a shared kitchen fully equipped with pots, pans, a fridge, and an air fryer, etc. Downstairs, there's a market where you can buy groceries and cook your own meals. The front desk also has beach toys for guests to borrow, and when we checked out, they even gave us a fridge magnet and seaweed as gifts. The service was excellent, and we had a very pleasant stay.

The apartment is on the side of the back house beach, and there is everything around it. After dinner, you can walk back to the room after walking on the beach. The whole is clean and hygienic, the atmosphere is sufficient, there is a shared dryer, 2 breakfast packages are delivered in the store, and the a la carte breakfast is not expensive. Overall satisfaction.

TTangcuxiaopaidemamaI booked a sea view room, but what I actually saw was an empty lot, with the sea barely visible in the distance between tall buildings. The 'sea view' is a bit disappointing, to be honest. 😂
The staff called me a day in advance to confirm my arrival time and room preferences, which was a nice touch!
The parking lot at the entrance is quite large, but I imagine it gets full quickly if you arrive late.
Breakfast opens promptly at 7:30 AM. I arrived 5 minutes early and had to wait at the door. The breakfast spread was quite generous, offering local specialties like Shantou粿条 soup, among other things.
I was staying in a room at the end of the hallway, right next to a storage room. Around 10 PM, when I was already trying to sleep, someone was still tidying up or getting things from the storage room next door, making a lot of noise. The hotel should really look into this.

GGuest UserBefore traveling to Nan'ao Island, I chose this B&B after reading online reviews. Very satisfied after checking in. First of all, Boss Xiaolin is very enthusiastic and takes the initiative to introduce nearby bus routes, food, and tourist attractions. In addition to the standard quilt on the bed, I also asked to add a single quilt, and the boss readily agreed. The room is large and well equipped, and the bedding is great.
You can see the sea when you stand in front of the window, and you can reach the beach in ten minutes' walk. The bus stop for entering the island is just downstairs, and the stop is called ”Tianyu Villa”. At the beginning of the lively Promenade. After entering the island, the bus passed by here first before heading to the town. Two stops away from the bustling visitor center. It is recommended for tourists visiting Nan'ao Island to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

The panoramic view perfectly captured the vast ocean, and I could clearly see the complete townscape of the island's center at eye level, along with the full view of the coastal pier. It was also at an ideal height to watch the entire spectacular sunset, and the staggered windmills on the sea were perfectly framed. The room was clean, bright, and had excellent natural light. The high-quality bedding was neither too soft nor too firm, suitable for all types of guests. The smart controls on the floor were convenient, and the viewing balcony was at a great height for a soak while enjoying the scenery – an absolutely fantastic experience.

Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple.
The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay.
The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again.
The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive.
Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.
