"We just passed two great nights in this lovely hotel in the heart of Mount Fuji.
I highly recommend coming here, specially if you love Vietnamese food like me haha.
The rooms are big with a good size balcony (unusual in Japan) the amenities are excellent, the bath is big and very functional and the staff is very nice
The location is perfect with just 14 minutes walking from the station and just 10 minutes away from a big shopping mall, supermarkets at just 4 minutes and obviously Mount Fuji just in front of you, everybody wants to wake up with Fuji-San and a coffee.
Also very family friendly from what I saw with multiple families with kids."

"Perfect location with a view of Mt. Fuji right outside our window. The ryokan style accommodation was simple but very comfortable. The management was very trusting of their guests. You could purchase anything that is on sale and leave the money in a money box. They also provided free transfers to and from kawaguchiko bus station from 9 am. But because our bus to Kofu was going to leave at 9 am they were kind enough to drop us at 8:30am. We were very grateful.
If I could suggest any improvement it would be to have a bathroom in all blocks. Right now it’s only in blockB and one has to walk a short distance from the other blocks to have a bath. They could also provide a change of towels after a few days. It’s all right if you’re doing a short stay but not if you’re staying for a week or more with no towel change. But all said we would return to this hotel if we went back to Kawaguchiko."

"Our stay at HAOSTAY was so good! the rooms were nice and clean, small but okay for a few nights. Service was also very good and the laundry machine was a great plus. Close to a lawsons and a couple restaurants and 30 min walk to main town. Such a nice area to stay in though"

GGuest UserI chose Yumefuji Hananoyado for my trip to Lake Kawaguchiko, and my overall experience was very satisfying.
**Location**
The inn is just a few minutes' walk from Kawaguchiko Station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation and easy to stroll along the lakefront.
**Atmosphere**
The inn boasts spacious grounds with a garden designed to reflect the seasons. Each guest room is a private, single-story building, offering privacy and making you feel like you're staying in your own little villa. It's very quiet at night, allowing for a good rest.
**Room**
The rooms are larger than typical inns, with a simple yet comfortable design and exceptionally high cleanliness. The beds are soft, ensuring excellent sleep quality. Some rooms even offer garden views, which are particularly delightful to wake up to in the morning.
**Bath**
While not a hot spring, they offer a 'Yakuseki-buro' (medicinal stone bath) that's open 24 hours. After a soak, my body felt relaxed, which was a great help for travel fatigue.

PPimnayThe room is nice. But It used to be more impressive when we stayed at this ryokan 5-6 years ago. Somehow we felt like their service dropped significantly. Everything are more strict  for example daily cleaning time is 11.00 -11.30 only and cannot be postpone. Check out time is 11.00  and then we decide to chill a bit at the lobby before leaving ( around 11.20 ) they politely asked us to leave by telling us that they will clean the lobby.  Which I think is there right to do so but it really feels uptight - not relax at all - and not as impressive like the other ryokans we stayed.

SSeanny LowNice stay at the hotel. Hotel has both public and private onsen (additional cost via reservation). Location of the hotel is on top of a relatively steep slope. Kinda challenging even for cars to get up there, tight lanes and few parking spaces. Hotel has no lift so beware! Hotel has no restaurant but a lounge that serve breakfast, afternoon snacks and small bites for dinner. The room is huge by Japanese standards. Even room has a view of the lake. Good stay!

PPoh ChinI am so grateful to be able to book a room with Hotel New Century during our stay on 23/3-24/3/26. It was a great and wonderful experience for our family. We were warmed welcome by the staffs and were served with excellent food and services. We felt very satisfied with the dinner and breakfast that provided by the hotel and served by the staffs, especially I can’t forget the senior lady who served us, thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality service. We also felt very grateful and excited as the view from the hotel room was stunning, where we can view the Mt Fuji right infront of the room window, and it was so beautiful!! Thanks to the hotel for giving us an unforgettable memories, we will definitely come again and stay here, also we will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit here.

TTongeryaHad a BBQ with friends in the evening, and the night view was great. However, the air conditioning in the room was really uncomfortable, and the bedding was too thick. I strongly advise against booking breakfast; it's better to just DIY. You can easily pick up some supplies at the big supermarket nearby.

GGuest UserLast minute booking and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The cabin was extremely spacious, well equipped, warm, and comfortable. Lots of room for our family of five to spread out! We also all loved the PJs! The location is excellent with onsite parking and even a small onsen. We didn’t take the breakfast or BBQ option but had everything needed to cook for ourselves. Best of all was the view - despite the rainy day, Mt Fuji made a guest appearance late in the evening, which we could enjoy right from our cabin.

GGuest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was comfortable, clean, and in a quieter location which we really liked, as it was away from the main town centre, but close to the lake that offers stunning views of Mt Fuji. And, there’s even a good view of Mt Fuji right from the property’s bathtub! The free arrival and departure shuttle (by request upon booking) was so helpful in accessing the property from the main train station. Bikes are provided with the property and there are local shops for purchasing food, plus good restaurants, all within walking distance. The owners respond quickly to questions. The house is equipped with wall-mounted smart controllers for running the hot water system, filling the bathtub etc, for which manuals are provided, but to save time we used Google translate to quickly identify the various control buttons. Also useful for operating appliances and remote controls, etc. Highly recommend this property and area.

NNaqueyaFor some reason I was not sent a QR Code to my email to check in. I was sent a pin number which was not necessary or utilized. We arrived at the villa several hours early and called to see if we could check in early, they apparently have a strict after 3pm check-in. We found a place and paid to store our luggage and then came back to the villa at 3pm. Again, still had not received the QR Code. Called again, was hung up on. Called back, was told it would take 10 minutes. Called back and was asked for my email, was put on hold then was asked for my email again (which was already provided at booking).
Then was asked to send them an email, they didn't get it and then was asked to send to personal icloud email. They finally found my email and sent the QR Code to me at close to 4pm which was an hour after check-in and we had to stand out in the sun the entire time. This was so frustrating and ridiculous. My email address was in the reservation, why it took so long is crazy. The process needs to be updated so this doesn't happen to other people.
There was a huge spider above the TV in the corner, we got rid of it but it was creepy.
The view from the villa was great!
The beds were nice!
Loved the double showers! The body sponges are so clever and left our skin feeling smoothe!
The clothes drying was very innovative and did work effectively, needed to turn the heater on twice to get the clothes dry.
Towel rack on the wall was broken on the right side, the rod wouldn't stay in.
The one pot in the kitchen was burnt on the bottom inside, we tried to clean it to use it but could not. We did use the grill to make dinner and it was a wonderful touch!
