We are a family of 5 and we stayed at the Jr Suite and Pacifica Suite. It was easy to talk to the personnel who handle the reservations thru viber. Transaction was smooth, and my requests were accommodated. Jr Suite room was ideal for my 3 children. Their room had 2 beds and the sofa was neatly set up as another bed for my youngest kid. There was a sink and the bathroom consists of a shower and toilet. The pacifica suite has a beautiful view of the sea at the second floor. It has a mini kitchen, receiving area, a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet, bathtub, plus couple’s sink, and the bedroom has a king sized bed. I noticed that some rooms/portions of the hotel are undergoing repairs, but the work does not disrupt the operations nor the peaceful setting. The food takes a bit long to be served, probably because of the care given to prepare them. The food was consistently filling, scrumptuous, and delightfully presented. The staff is friendly, courteous, works with care and appears to love what they do. It’s in the manner that they interact with guests and surroundings. This is true from the front desk to the lifeguards to the restaurant attendants and housekeeping personnel. Costa Pacifica does not have a spa but we enjoyed the in-room massage. I played my own relaxing music, and they took care of the rest of the ‘spa feel’. The place has a long stretch of clean beach that is ideal for surfing and strolling (during low tide). There are instructors and photographers in the area (non Costa Pacifica staff), and you can avail of surf lessons for a fixed rate of P500/hr per head, or avail of unli-photos for a fair price of P200/head. My kids had fun learning how to surf! It was our first time to visit Baler, Aurora - and it’s such an amazing place! The people take pride in their heritage, and you will surely feel the hospitality in and out of Costa Pacifica. TIP: Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained and ready for the terrain and winding roads on the last 2 hours of your travel from CLEX. If your vehicle needs high octane gas (97-100), I suggest you fill up and/or prepare. But the scenic route is so worth the trip!
