We visited Pepe Piato Lodge's restaurant at lunchtime today, and were thoroughly impressed. Excellent value for money, delicious food, great service given to us by the restaurant Supervisor, Emile, and a fabulous setting. It had a great bar, and although they don't serve wine by the glass, they made a plan for me. This is a wonderful stopover between the Drakensberg area and JHB/ Pretoria. The chalets look marvelous from the outside, and this venue clearly caters for conferences, team building exercises etc. Keep up the good work everyone!

Didn’t expect to find such a nice and friendly place in Grootvlei. The staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay of only one night a memorable one. Thank you so much. The restaurant where we went for breakfast is also very nice offering a very tasty breakfast. True South African hospitality.

A very comfortable and pleasant stay. The microwave and small fridge in the room were very handy and the heater and electric blanket were much appreciated in the middle of winter. There was a little bit of noise from other guests checking in late on the first evening but it didn't last very long. The room service dinners provided were great!

Amazing stop over en-route to Pretoria.
Highly recommended.
