Emana Hotels and Resort Hotels in Bali

A wonderful little hotel with all amenities. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, always greeting guests with a smile. I loved the bathtub on the balcony and the infinity pool. It's a quiet location, and there's a small waterfall nearby. The grounds are beautiful, well-maintained, and green. The hotel offers many activities that can be booked (excursions, massages, breakfast in the pool).

This was our first time in Bali, and we finally got to stay in our dream bamboo house! From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the front desk staff made us feel right at home. The hotel's environment and facilities deserve more than 5 stars; 'perfect' is the only word to describe them. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly enthusiastic, especially those at the front desk. The restaurant staff who delivered breakfast to our room each morning were also wonderful, eagerly asking about our daily plans and offering excellent suggestions. By the way, the breakfast was fantastic, and having it delivered to our room made it even better! The hotel is about a 10-minute taxi ride from the city center. You could walk, but there are hardly any sidewalks, which makes it a bit dangerous, so I recommend using Grab for a cheap ride. We stayed for three nights, and the shower filter only showed a slight yellow tint, which means the filtration system is excellent – in other countries, mine always turns completely dirty, so this was a pleasant surprise! As for the bamboo house itself, there were some bugs, but not many, mostly small flying insects. Of course, with an all-bamboo structure, soundproofing isn't great, so if you're bothered by noise, you might want to reconsider; otherwise, earplugs should do the trick. The only downside was a stain on the duvet cover, but they replaced it quickly. I hope they can pay more attention to that in the future. Despite this small issue, everything else exceeded our expectations, so I'm still giving it 5 stars!

From the warm welcome and hospitality, the attentive service, the well-designed, appointed and clean rooms to the tasty menu and ample range of drinks, Emana Akatara lived up to its billing as great option for those thinking of visitng Ubud. It is a bit out of town, but being on the urban fringe means you get to enjoy a quieter pace. My room overlooked the paddy fields, and waking up to roosters and other bird calls rather than revving motorbikes is a novelty after time spent in Jakarta. It works fine as a place to recharge and as base to do activities, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for those with older kids (unless tranqulity is their thing!)

I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but it was as beautiful as the photos on the website, and the staff were all friendly. The living room and two bedrooms are separated by the pool, so it was inconvenient to walk around in shoes and with an umbrella, especially when it rained. However, it was a charming place. Gauri Restaurant was the best meal I had in Ubud. I ordered room service because I had a baby. It rained four out of five days in Ubud, but the beautiful accommodation was a relief. The city center is a 15-20 minute taxi ride away. The soundproofing is poor, as you can hear everything from the next room in the living room. However, you can't hear anything from the bedroom. My first accommodation in Bali was beautiful, so I started my trip on a high note.
