We had an incredible stay at Playgrounds Wave Lodge! Perched perfectly on the hill overlooking Jungut Batu and the surf breaks, the location is a dream for any surfing family. Room 1 exceeded all expectations — spacious with a large bed, bunks for our child, thoughtful touches like storage for boards,. They had in the room yoga mats, coat hangers, and a dreamy bathroom featuring a big bath. The real highlight was the spectacular view from the expansive balcony – truly the jewel in the crown! Breakfast included one option per person, but the generous portions were more than enough. The onsite Thai Pantry offers delicious food, adding even more value to the stay. Huge thanks to the team for such a welcoming and comfortable experience — we will definitely be back! Ps. There is construction on down the hill a little it’s not anything to complain about.

The room did not live up to expectations. Stayed at numerous places along the hill over the years and this place did not match the price paid. The bathroom shower toilet set up was terrible being right next to each other the toilet was wet and you had to dry it down every time you showered also no bench space for any toiletries. Also breakfast you only get a choice of 1 drink and 1 meal this is fine if you are paying along the lower scale for accommodation but not when you are paying higher. The room was clean though showing signs of wear and tear all over experience average.

The staff are awesome, the view was beautiful. The room was great size for 2 boys and partners. The kitchen staff cooked the fish the kids caught and it was Bali delicious. We had a great time. Thanks

Stunning view, huge deck with beanbags and seating. Lots of stairs to access rooms. Family room worked well. Clean and tidy. Helpful staff. Loved breakfast at Thai Pantry. Small pool but fine to cool off in. Used Kaikoa speed boat which felt safe and was fast. Loved our stay here, highly recommend.

We spent 5 glorious nights at Wave Lodge. The rooms are spacious for a family of 4 if you are happy to share one space. Thai Pantry has some of the best food on the island so breakfast was always tasty, we ate many lunches and dinners there too. The staff are so lovely, always helpful and happy. The pool view is epic, people watching, surf check, watching the calm water. Happy hour(s) is a bonus, floating around the pool with a chilli margarita. We caught the Kai Koa over, did not touch our bags from Sanur until we landed back in Sanur. The most relaxing week. Thanks to the Wave Lodge team!

The perfect place to stay. Location excellent, amazing views, very friendly and helpful staff and very comfortable and well serviced amenities. The restaurant associated with the accommodation served delicious and very fresh food. Very close to everything we needed.
