First of all the hotel location is nice as it’s near the paddy field and it’s not far from main road where many cafes, restaurants and shops for convenience. The check in at the reception is straight forward but the instructions isnt clear and lack of enthusiasm from the hotel staff. Although the room is spacious, it doesn’t compensate with how dirty the floor is , the wall was moldy especially in the toilet! … the condition of the bed and sofas are stained with dirts and smells as well . stayed for 3nites, and there’s no cleaning in the morning (except for day 2) unless I requested this at the reception.. there’s no hot water for shower unless I requested this at the reception also and both instructions wasn’t convey to me during check in… Don’t consider to stay here unless you want creepy crawlies entering the room (I can still tolerate that, that’s why daily cleaning is required automatically!), house lizards droppings, guano from the bats, mosquitoes (there’s no insect repellent well at least repellant coils should be provided).

The location and staff are great. The hotel grounds are quiet and peaceful, set far back away from the noise of the main street. The room, especially the bathroom, needs to be updated. Unfortunately, the shower doesn't seem like it's ever been scrubbed. Needs a full Bleach spray down and a scrubbing pad for the shower walls and glass, along with a rubber seal for the shower door so the water doesn't flood the bathroom floor while you take a shower. You can tell that this hotel was once top-notch and very beautiful. With some bathroom renovations and some room updates, it could easily reach 3-4 stars, quite possibly even 5.

Is this 4 stars? . The door in the shower is so scary. The territory is large, there is no beautiful fishing here. There are swimming pools, but it’s better not to swim in them, believe me. The exit to the street through the room is cool, but there is such a gap there that the ants walked as if to their own home.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are unique. The swimming pool and rice fields are in the city. There are convenient restaurants nearby.

Picturesque view of the rice fields and the swimming pool. Very warm and caring staff. Very generous breakfast fruits, salad, omelette, rice, breaded chicken and more. Very spacious and modern room. Modern walk-in shower. Painting work in progress in high season. Very close to trendy restaurants and tea rooms

They try not to take care of the cleanliness of the rooms diligently, for 5 days the towels were changed only at the request.

Originally booked for five nights, stayed for one night and quickly moved out Power cut off from entering the room. At night, the toilet smells bad, the air conditioner is loud, and there are bugs biting people on the bed. I was about to move out the next day, but the front desk said they could change the room for me, so I'll give it a chance. As a result, the water blocked and overflowed in the bathing place, and someone came to do it for a long time. In the afternoon, I went to the waterfall and went back to the hotel to take a hot shower, but it turned out that there was no hot water for half an hour, and the call to the front desk was extremely slow. There is a shuttle bus to get out of the room. I called the front desk and there was a boy who couldn't understand English and didn't come for a long time. There is no person in charge at the front desk, they are all a bunch of children, except for one girl, who can't speak English very well. Don't stay here if you don't want to waste time and have a terrible experience in Ubud. Not to mention the poor hotel facilities in the room, the price is here. Move out overnight

Don’t waste your time and money on this one. We booked the luxury villa with private pool and it lacked on the luxury and privacy. The room was not clean and we had to request for toilet paper. The private pool was not so private because there was a guy living in a shack with clear view of our private pool. The laminate on the cheap ikea furniture was peeling and broken. The tub in our bathroom was filthy and unusable. I killed spiders, flies and ants in our room. A gecko was in our room and would make a loud squeak when all the lights were turned off. We ended up staying at a different hotel in the middle of the night where we didn’t have any of these problems. The property manager promised a full refund but now is not answering any messages. The only positive is that it’s in a great location in Ubud with lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Great location. Beautiful views from the one bed rice villa. Rooms are incredibly dark to the point that you can barely see to get ready at night. The stairs leading from bedroom to bathroom is pitch black. Dodgy plumbing in the bathroom - WC leaking on floor. Bathroom very dark. No hot water in all the time we stayed here. Little things really let the place down. We had to ask for cups/sugar although we had tea bags and a kettle! Breakfast okay but cold after around 9.30am with not alot of choice. Bed had a winter duvet on when only a sheet is needed. Staff where very friendly and polite. Not sure we would stay here again, but it is in within walking distance of bars, restaurants, monkey forest.

Négative: Dirty old rooms like in a Tarantino film. Our DELUXE room had an unstable toilet bowl, dirty black water flowing into the sink, broken shower head, broken tiles on the floor, difunctional ventilation (bad odors), door handle where you could cut yourself. Smelly trash hidden behind the pool. Positive: Beautiful garden with but poorly maintained pool. Very good WIFI. Friendly and helpful staff. Conclusion: The entire hotel could be extraordinary but it urgently needs to be renovated.

A very traditional hotel and like all reviews need a bit need of renovation. We stayed for 4N .We were 2 ladies travelling on our first trip to Bali. The hotel is in an ideal location as its very near the town facilities. The staff are extremely nice and hospitable. We chose a room with pool view .The room had the bathroom and shower facility down and you need to climb creaky wooden stairs to the bedroom(ie Luggage will be carried through these stairs). Though room was clean we found it small and bit congested but its still value for money. Room has a seating area up and down on both floors. Unfortunately there is a free for all access to the below washroom and on our second night we felt scared that someone was using our washroom downstairs .However the staff were very prompt and upgraded our room to a better one (rice field view) which was amazing. Food for breakfast was good and fresh. Wonderful hotel staff too. As its a tropical place you need to expect all sorts of creatures(lizards to mosquitos) .Pools were clean and well maintained .The bathroom were clean but with rusty pipes. Hot water was available We loved the whole vibe the hotel has .Would come back but would prefer the second room(rice field view) more. The front desk staff especially (Dewa?)was really good. There is a buggy cart to take you around the hotel grounds and rooms.
