Bali is such a worthwhile place to visit! The scenery is incredible, and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

I had a lot of reservations after reading some reviews, but in reality, the hotel turned out to be wonderful! The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious. There were no insects or other critters in the room. And those breakfasts – seriously, I loved them! Everything was cooked so well! The only thing to keep in mind is that Grab (ride-hailing service) can't pull up directly to the hotel, so you'll have to walk about 5 minutes to meet your car. But this didn't affect my overall impression at all; I'd happily come back to this hotel!

The location is a bit difficult to reach, but the hotel's common areas are very beautiful. The hotel has its own small private beach, and the breakfast is delicious! The room itself looks quite ordinary, with simple decor. If you're looking for a more luxurious experience, you might not be too fond of this place.

The room had two levels, similar to a loft apartment back home. The common areas were decent, but ride-sharing apps couldn't drop us directly at the hotel entrance. The hotel has its own private beach, which isn't huge and has some rocks. However, at low tide, not many rocks are exposed. You can find some seashells on the beach, and there are fish near some of the rocks. You'll also spot small crabs on the sand, and bigger ones near the rocks. Now for the very, very important downside: if you're staying in my room type, it's one of six rooms arranged in a circle, almost like a pillar. You share an entrance staircase with the unit next door, and the soundproofing is absolutely terrible!!! The people next door were talking loudly until 2 AM, and I couldn't take it anymore, so I asked the front desk to speak to them. But they were still noisy until 3 AM. I even got woken up after I'd already fallen asleep. So, you really need to consider if you can accept this drawback.

The environment is great and the scenery is particularly beautiful.

The hotel is right across from Ayana, separated by a small cove. Ayana costs 3000 a night, while this place is only 800. It's quiet with not many rooms. The food is delicious; the grilled sea bass and beef burgers are excellent – I had them twice. The room decor is a bit plain, with a simple, eco-friendly style, but the public areas are exquisite and tidy. Overall, it's a very good choice. However, the check-in experience wasn't great; they charged an extra 200 per person for a child's bed.

Cleanliness: There were ants, cockroaches, geckos, and mosquitoes. While dining at the restaurant, wild birds tried to snatch pineapple from our table. The bath towels also had visible stains. Location: The hotel is located deep inside a mountain path. Grab drivers cannot reach the hotel entrance or parking area, so guests must walk 5–8 minutes uphill to the main road to be picked up. Local taxi drivers gather at the hotel entrance to solicit passengers, and some of them lounge all day in a pavilion-like hut waiting for guests. They intimidate Grab drivers to prevent them from coming in. One time, even though our Grab driver had arrived and we were already in the car, the local taxi drivers shouted at us to get out and walk to the main road to board the ride. Their attitude was aggressive, as if they were ready to start a fight. Service: We stayed for three nights, and after checking in, there was basically no service. The staff showed us to our room but didn’t provide a room key—we had to go to the front desk to get it ourselves. During our three-night stay, housekeeping only came once. Facilities: There is no TV in the room. The public pool has a nice view, and since the hotel is on a cliffside, the sea view from the pool area is quite beautiful.
