Uma Padi Villa

We love the staff here all so friendly and helpful, lovely big Villa and driver Nyoman is amazing, lots of information he gives you while driving and always willing to take you whenever and wherever. We will definitely be back

The villa was incredible. Private pool. Two levels with balcony overlooking a rice patty field. Outdoor living area. Stunningly beautiful. And the best part of the Villa however was our driver, Ariawan "Ari". Ari picked us up from the airport and drove us wherever we wanted for our 3 day stay in Ubud. He gave us great recommendations on places to go. During our drives he told us lots of info about the fascinating history and culture of Bali. He happily answered my many questions too. He even drove us to Nusa Dua and spent a full day there driving us around. His prices were quite affordable. I highly recommend the Villa and Ari's driving services. Our vacation would not have been as enjoyable without him.

Uma Padi was amazing. 5 of us rented out the entire property for our stay. The one bedroom villa, pool and garden view room was well appointed with a comfy 4 poster bed and amazing bathroom with large tub and stone shower. The staff was readily available and made a delicious breakfast for us each day. We had a lovely outdoor kitchen in a beautiful outdoor garden with plunge pool. I highly recommend Uma Padi if you want to away from the hustle and bustle of the center of town, but want to be close enough to be walkable.

We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Padi villas. The Villa was really well appointed, with a comfy 4 poster bed, gorgeous bathroom with a giant tub and seperate rain shower (with good water pressure!), and the pool was a great size. The place was really clean and the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back ourselves on our next trip to Bali.

Very unique, small family villas, a little outside of Ubud, so would be convenient to arrange a daily driver or rent a motorbike. But the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, we had an authentic Ubud experience there

A traveler’s dream!! We had the BEST time at Uma Padi Villas. Owned and operated locally by Nyoman and his family, the villas are truely spectacular and the service was amazing. Nyoman went above and beyond to get us to places and show us Ubud. His brother, Wayan, gave us a full day tour, visiting temples, the monkey forest, and rice terrace, explaining all the history and importance of each. He was more than happy to answer any questions about his life in Bali and how the locals live etc… And lastly, the staff at Uma Padi Villa were also so kind and lovely, really helpful and provided an amazing cooked breakfast. We had a such an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend!!

This was our first experience travelling to Bali and had arranged with the Vila to do airport pick up. As arranged pick up was waiting with a sign with our names and negated the need for any service like Bali Tic. The trip to Ubud was approx 1hr in the air-conditioned SUV. I won't go into describing the Ubud area except to say its well worth putting on your itinerary. As far as the Villas go they have good aircons, lovely Balinese style bathrooms, very nice kitchen area which leads out onto a pool deck and each Vila has its own pool which is in the photos. The bed itself is a King size and very comfy. As far as location goes, it's approx 5 mins from Ubud centre and after a few trips into the Ubud centre/market area you will appreciate the small buffer from the noise. The Vila is located approx 200m from a really well fitted out gym which is local prices or 300m from Jungle Box Ubud which is a full function Cross fit gym with daily WODs etc. Within a 5 min walk is a mixture of resteraunts for local Balinese or some more catered to tourists. For comparison the local resteraunt for tourists will be between 4-6 Australian dollars for a full main meal. I can't speak highly enough of the staff at the Vila who will have your breakfast order to you at whatever time you pre arrange and the food and coffee are amazing. The Balinese coffee and banana pancakes were a huge hit with our family. All day trips, half day trips and local car trip needs and scooter hire are available at the Villas and the guys were really helpful especially at explaining the Balinese culture. The name Ubud is a loose translation of the term Wellness and a few weeks here eating fresh local food and enjoying the laid back vibe is definately good for busy people seeking to restore some balance. Will be back for sure.
