Little far from the city. Beautiful area. Large and beautiful room with front and back yard with small pool. The only issue was that there were incests coming to the room due to the opening at the patio door.

Overall price/quality. The area is all green, it is very pleasant to relax by the pool. The room was clean except the bathroom (the sink/shower floor was dirty). We stayed for three nights, the room was not cleaned, we asked for replacement towels ourselves. For breakfast there is a choice of several dishes (omelet/eggs in other variations/coffee/tea/juice). We lived in a room near the entrance, the pump was very noisy.

I gave up on the location for the low price However, I stayed for two days, and I only had one day's worth of towels and basic water. And the bathroom smelled so bad and the condition of the blankets wasn't that good. Even though it's a hotel, the floor shakes and creaks a lot. come in a lot Lastly, there are frogs in the pool, which is unhygienic... :(

The hotel is a upgraded backpackers that is kilometers away of any shops or supermarkets. They did not have a shuttle service into Ubud, so we where stranded. The personal couldn't speak/understands English which makes the communication complicated. The advertisements of the villa is a misrepresentation of what is actually going on there. We have been paying for a 4* hotel but get a upgraded backpackers

This was an awful place stay! Read the reviews and avoid at all costs The staff speak very little English We had a room with ants all over the floor, pair of dirty socks in the bedside cabinet and electric wires all worn on the lamps. The outside kitchen area is something like I’ve never seen before and can’t really describe it as there were no words …… The bathroom was dirty and I rubbed the edge of the bath with some face wipes and all the grime came off. We did not stay ……

First impression was far from impressed. After we checked in for villa superior deluxe, the villa was dusty and not prepared at all. The kitchen was empty from utensils, no cooking wares, the fridge was dirty and unplugged, not even towels prepared for us. The pool filled with dirt and leaves. The bathroom was super dirty with clogged tub, mold on bathroom sink, and hair all over the place. We had to call room service to get the tub unclogged since we desperately need shower. They came with super thin and small towels. It's a sad little villa in a middle of a gorgeous island. Book at your own risk. Edit: I found this horrible place via Booking(dot)come website. It seems they're not taking any responsibilities for the partners of their choosing.

We lasted 9 hours at this place. Checked in at 1 AM, this was after the security staff that was running reception didn’t have a clue about our booking and wasn’t expecting us. Also didn’t help that they spoke little to no English either. After an hour of messing about at reception (not ideal after a 18 hours of travelling) we finally got into our ‘Deluxe Villa’. Where to start? lizard droppings absolutely everywhere, curtains, floors and even the bed. Understandable considering there was around 4 or 5 lizards on the roof INSIDE the villa. The bathroom area looked like it had been bought second hand from a prison, filthy and completely run down. Mould round the sink and just generally in a tired state. The outside kitchen area was again infested in lizards with a side of ants for good measure. The front door to the villa was nothing more than a flimsy wooden door that a strong gust of wind could blow over. Atleast there was a safe for your expensive belongings right? Well yes there is but it isn’t bolted down so you can just pick up the safe and take it. The pool area is more of a health hazard then a relaxing area. Smashed pool tiles leaving sharp edges and filter lids missing are just some of the risks you face while taking a dip. Pool area also infested with ants. Breakfast is a measly tasteless omelette or a couple of potato pancakes… everyday, for your whole stay, it never changes. After 9 hours we decided to zip up our cases and leave. It’s a real shame as this place could really be a thing of beauty but it’s looks like it’s been left to ruin by whoever owns it. And if you’re reading this review like we were reading the ones before we arrived here and wondering wether we just like to moan. Well I’ve never wrote a review in my life, genuinely an easy going person and never stayed in hotels abroad higher then a 3 star, but this place left a really bad taste in my mouth and I promise It wasn’t the omelette. Stay at your own risk.

There is blood in the toilet seat!!! This is a serious safety hazard! The checking time was 2pm and we went to 12pm to check out the room but they said that we couldn't as cleaners were getting the room ready, we went back at 4pm when we checked in and we found a shocking state of the property! The unsafe state of the room (blood in the toilet seat, brown splashes, oily and dirty water in the pool, brown marks in the bed sheets, bottle taps everywhere, pieces of plastic and paper around the garden area, pieces of cigarettes, chunks of hairs rolling around, black mouldy in the sink, dirty and not working fridge…and more) we are quite understanding people as we worked in the hospitality for many years, this was quite a lot to take in! We took few videos as evidence and one was of my husband talking to the manager. After 1.5hours of talking we came to an agreement with the manager of refund. We end up leaving the property around 6.30pm with no place to stay! After 2 days we drove back to talk to them as we didn't received the refund and they said that the “marketing” have to rectify and approve the cancellation. We have sent the marketing email gm.villamandi@gmail.con and to Agoda expressing the request. from both ends the request was denied We didn’t stayed at the property, we didn’t used any of their facilities, we didn't want to get sick!! I wanted to protect my family and not to go holiday to get an illness! We been dealing with this for over a month and unfortunately we feel not heard ! We feel not cared from the manager and Agoda. The best they could do is offering $21.21 with the same money you can get a much better place and not ruin your vacation By the way the location is a the bottom of the mountain (Ubud) about 20minutes by motor bike and there only one bungalow with the rice field view the rest is facing a wall- reference to booking ID 973050437

Firstly I would like to say, we booked the Villa Mandi through our travel agent and made them aware to take this off their suggested accommodations! TERRIBLE and DIRTY is an understatement. We were booked into a 'Deluxe' Villa and on the first night we walked in we found 2 x dead cockroaches in the bathroom and a spider nest above the shower. Not to mention the kitchen, where the fridge looked like it had been dragged behind a lorry along a dirt road. We told the staff the room was dirty to which they responded "can you show us what you mean" so we took the receptionist to the room and there didn't seem to be much agreement but said they would clean the room again while we were away, this didn't happen, or it made no difference. Also there is no soap or hand towels, we requested a towel and was told "you already have 2" We spoke to our travel agent and the staff moved us to another 'deluxe' villa... needless to say it wasn't an improvement and my wife and I still didnt feel the place was clean enough to take footwear off. We spent our first day in Ubud staying away from the Villa Mandi and subsequently made the decision to pack our cases and leave, we booked into The Garcia hotel which I cant recommend enough! Polar opposite to this place. This was our honeymoon and where Bali is a beautiful country and we would love to return, we would be avoiding the Villa Mandi at all costs.

Absolute nightmare! Lizards and huge bugs and ants in the room. The sliding glass doors don’t close properly because the wood is damaged and warped, so things just crawl right in. I was terrified of them crawling on me and my luggage when i sleep and checked out asap. Safe didn’t work so my laptop and passport were only guarded by a glass door that doesn’t fully close. No hand soap and the staff just apologized and said no soap. Trying to get my money back from ********** who’s virtual chat agent is stuck in a loop of logging in and restarting the chat and logging in again with no help. Shocked no one else had reported how bad the bugs/ lizards are. I understand we’re in the jungle but I’ve stayed in two other hotels and had no issue bc the doors closed all the way. It’s sad because the place was pretty but needs to meet basic building codes.

Horrible ! As soon as we arrived in the room, we knew it wouldn't work! Mold Noseful odor No furniture Door does not close properly Insect More mold We went back to reception to inform them of the situation. No alternative offered. We have more dignity than that so we priced another hotel last minute. No reimbursement by the establishment. I almost forgot that we had to wait almost 30 minutes in the lobby upon arrival. Everything suggested that our presemce was not planned even though we booked 3 months in advance. The young man at reception kept asking me for my cell phone in order to inspect my reservation.... Avoid at all costs. We have traveled a lot in our lives and so far, the worst hotel we have had!
