The Ubud Village Resort & Spa Reviews

We had a very pleasant stay at Ubud Village Resort. One of the biggest highlights is the setting — despite being located very close to the heart of Ubud, the resort feels wonderfully secluded and tranquil, surrounded by lush rice fields and open green spaces. The layout is spacious and thoughtfully planned, creating a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to forget you're just minutes from town. The villas are exceptionally large, comfortable, and well-designed, with plenty of attention given to architectural detailing and overall ambience. The breakfast was excellent. While it is not a buffet, the menu offers a good variety of choices, and the portions are generous and satisfying. The resort is beginning to show its age in some areas and would benefit from a renovation refresh. However, the wear and tear is not significant enough to detract from the overall experience. My one major criticism is the lighting inside the rooms. It is far too dim, especially in the evenings. Reading a book or even working comfortably is difficult, and this is an area that urgently needs improvement. The recreation facilities were a welcome addition. We particularly enjoyed the pool table and table tennis, which provided a fun way to spend some downtime. Finally, the staff were outstanding. As is often the case throughout Bali, everyone was courteous, efficient, warm, and genuinely eager to help. Their hospitality added greatly to the overall experience. Overall, a beautiful resort with a peaceful setting, spacious accommodations, excellent service, and great value. With some upgrades and better room lighting, it would be even better.

Good hotel. Large villa. Excellent breakfast. Good location if you have a scooter. Great value for money. 50,000 for 3 days with two breakfasts. They even let us take some goodies from breakfast with us. The area is incredibly beautiful, with jerboas running in the trees. Birds nesting, and you get to observe it all. Lush and green. There was one minor issue, but they apologized and fixed it. Appreciated. Thank you to the hotel.

Everything was wonderful – the location, service, and food. Although it's a bit of a trek from Denpasar Airport, about two hours if you charter a car, it's definitely worth the journey. I'd love to come back here on my next trip to Bali.

The environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is à la carte. The coffee is really good ☕️.

The cleanliness of the villa need to be improved and at night there’s many frog and insects ard the villa…location is good

Second time visiting here. Everything is perfect except the road to the resort is pretty shady and dangerous. We did yoga class and free photo shoot as well and it was really memorable. Great resort ever in Ubud

resort looked empty but they give us a villa quite right inside. breakfast was good. villa looked a bit run down. air con was only 1 area so it was very hot so had to request a fan but they were unhappy and didn't want to give but after much persuasion they brought from another room which says that it was hot, lot of mosquitoes and lizards. TV was placed in an awkward location that it was blocked by our bed which was so difficult to watch. not much channels so i guess that they need to upgrade

The staff were incredibly kind and ensured we had a wonderful day, leaving a very positive impression. My only reservation was being a little reluctant to use the private pool. Nevertheless, the overall experience was good, and I'd still recommend it.

Airport pickup was arranged, and the service was excellent.

We celebrated our anniversary and the hotel arrangements were well thought out, very attentive to detail. All the staff are helpful, humble and polite. We strongly recommend this hotel.
