d'primahotel Bandar Balikpapan

I stayed at D'Prima Bandar Balikpapan for 5 nights and I would say I had a good experience overall. The room was rather small but great for a solo traveler or maybe a couple. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the hotel feels new and clean overall with good service from the staffs. The only thing I would complain about is that my room (131) had a funky smell, I suspect it's coming from the aircon or the sewerage system. If I were to nitpick, I'd say there's no hair dryer and refrigerator which makes it a bit of an inconvenience. Overall I would recommend staying at this hotel, it's great value for money.

This hotel location is perfect, near de cafe, one of the famous place to eat in Balikpapan, also some other place. Balikpapan Plaza is in a walking distance. Small room but quite comfy, food was fine. Staff is overall helpful.

Spent 3 nights here. The location is unbeatable!super close to Plaza Balikpapan and great food spots. Huge shoutout to the staff (front desk, security, and housekeeping); their service is top-notch and so welcoming! The room was cold, clean, and comfortable. Only downsides were a slightly stained duvet and towels that need refreshing. There’s also no built-in storage or fridge, which made storing local food finds a bit tricky. Still a fantastic choice for a stay in Balikpapan!

It was a truly enjoyable experience throughout our stay. We found the accommodations to be very satisfactory. The overall quality of our visit was excellent. We appreciate the effort put into making our time here so pleasant. It was a thoroughly good experience.

Very new hotel. 3 stars hotel feels like 5 stars hotel. Clean hotel room with comfortable modern design room.
