Was looking for a hotel close to comedy show and low and behold it was in the same hotel. So it worked out great for us after checking in went to dinner came back relaxed for 45 min. Then went down stairs to comedy factory. We had free coupons for breakfast but we decided to venture out on our way back to Richmond. Overall nice place to stay found out they also shuttle for cruises out of this hotel too.

The hotel is relatively old and the price is not high. It seems to be opened by Mexicans. How many people from the Mexican and Latin American generation stayed in the hotel, but the front desk is still relatively friendly, the breakfast is also average, and the waiter is very nice! The parking lot is relatively large and convenient and free!

Hotel is rundown and needs renovation, but staff is very nice. Best Western and the Tradewinds restaurant need to stop handing out plastic containers and plastic utensils, like they’re candy. One of the servers told me that she asked management to stop using plastic, but she was ignored. How hard is it to use compostable containers for take out? And there are ZERO recycling bins anywhere on the property. This is not hard. Just do it.

My stay was great once we got setteled. The drunk people in the lobby from whatever events that were taking place had me a little concerned at first. However the security staff on duty, kept the situation calm and respectful with a peacefule ending.
