There was blood and hair on the sheets and the toilet smelled bc it didn’t flush well. Under the tv console was dirty with garbage wrappers. It’s a great location but the cleaning service needs to do better. Also more attention needs to be paid to the bathroom and make sure everything is working well.

Nice area, the staffs were nice 

This hotel is old and needs to be updated. The elevator was disgusting and run down.

It is an excellent, peaceful location. The hotel seems to be old and needs renovations. Complimentary breakfast was not good but manageable for a quick one-night stay.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this Marriott property. At exactly 8:00 AM, I was abruptly woken up by constant loud banging noises that sounded like someone hammering nails into a wall right next to my room. The noise was so intense that it felt like I was sleeping in the middle of a construction site rather than a hotel. The banging continued for an extended period, making it impossible to sleep, relax, or enjoy the stay. If maintenance work or construction was scheduled, guests should have been notified in advance or placed far away from the disturbance. Instead, I paid for a hotel room and got a front-row seat to what sounded like a renovation project. A hotel's primary purpose is to provide a comfortable place to rest, and this property completely failed in that regard. Being jolted awake by construction-like noise at 8:00 AM is unacceptable, especially for guests who may be traveling, working, or simply hoping to get some sleep. I would not stay here again and would caution others to think twice before booking if peace and quiet are important to them.

I had an appointment at Notre Dame of Maryland University, only about a mile away, so this was perfect. The hotel was very quiet even though I know many other people were staying there. The room is large, large enough for a full-size couch, a big TV screen, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, closet, and desk. Everything in the room worked. The price was quite reasonable. Online, I was told that breakfast was not included and would be an extra $43(!?!), but when I arrived, the man at the front desk told me it is free and included in the room. (He was also always eager to assist me whenever I got within his sightlines.) The breakfast is very good as hotel breakfasts go. I parked underneath the hotel, so away from weather and the street. There are several restaurants in the greater complex, but it didn't seem like any of them had high ratings except for the Chinese restaurant, where the food is very good (though everything is overpriced except entrees, so you can see where it makes $).
