Excellent place to stay if you want to experience what it’s like to sleep in an authentic Ifugao cabin. The hospitality of Ramon or “Mang Ramon” is unsurpassed by the neighboring homestays because he has the authentic indigenous huts plus a nice view of the terraces. He also provides a demonstration of rice hulling. The food they serve of course includes the rice from the terraces which is as organic as rice can get, including the hulling without the use of machines. Mainly it’s served with fried chicken. The huts are very clean inside and despite not having air conditioning, it doesn’t get too hot. The toilets and showers are shared and I wish the flushing worked, but at least there’s clean running water. The staff are helpful and mingling with the other guests was fun.
