Friendly Good value for money. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. If you looking for a decent place to stay its certainly worth checking out.

Nice hotel but poor and expensive food Nice room. Comfortable and clean. Good condition despite lingering smell of smoke everywhere from catering staff sitting outside in the car park smoking. Not a great (or hygienic) first impression. Do not recommend eating here.Disappointing and pricey. Had two bland and poorly presented meals. Dry overcooked scampi and chips presented alone on plate without peas - had to ask waiter for them as they were included (£14) and a steak pie which was really a plate of grey stew with lots of ( frozen? tinned?) carrots and a circle of pastry on top (£17) We enjoyed an overall pleasant stay in this nice inn, but in my opinion don’t bother with their food

Good location and nice place. Good place to stay. But no hot water in the evening of my stay, apparently the result of the immersion heater being switched off. Good food.

Really dreadful Party going on until 1am. Then woken up by false fire alarm at 2pm with no apology from management.

Good value for money Stayed at the Burnett Arms while attending a nearby wedding; the hotel was very good value; clean and convenient with helpful staff. They went out of their way to give us an early check in for the wedding and sort out any queries we had. I would definitely recommend.

We arrived in the evening after working all day, hoping for somewhere clean and comfortable to stay but unfortunately, this was the complete opposite. The manager greeted us and after a swift check-in we went up to our room, the room looked really tired and the window was wide open to try and disguise the fact that someone had been smoking in a non-smoking room. I can live with a room that needs a bit of TLC but what I can't live with is how dirty it was. It was awful, the dust and grim was on another level. The worst I've seen in a hotel. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed, the thick layers of dust was on every skirting, radiator, everywhere. There wasn't even proper toilet roll. We complained and were moved to a different room but this one was even worse. The window wouldn't close and the toilet was broken so water just constantly ran through it. We had no choice but to level and find alternative accommodation. I've never had to do this before. We had hoped to eat there too but after seeing the bedrooms I'd hate to think what the kitchen would be like. Do not stay here, avoid it!
