The hotel is probably the best hotel in the city. It has breakfast porridge, noodles and rice noodles, and the quality is guaranteed. Several museums are nearby, and it is less than one kilometer away from the lively riverside. Nice hotel, I stayed during Ramadan so I couldn’t sample the restaurant until the evening, but I was busy at that point. The staff did what they could though and offered guests a room service breakfast.
One staff member was very friendly and he helped me book a private tour to see the water village, a boat ride, the outside of the Sultan’s palace and we even went on water safari and saw monitor lizards and proboscis monkeys in the wild. This amazing tour would not have been possible had the concierge not phoned around to get me this tour. Other group tours were fully booked, so I really appreciate it.
The swimming pool was nice too. I swam at lunchtime.
