Im Zuge einer Rundreise verbrachten wir 2 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Das Hotel ist einfach, aber sehr sauber und schön. Unser neu renoviertes Zimmer war geräumig. Regendusche im Bad. Kein Save und Kühlschrank. Da WLAN im Zimmer nicht funktionierte surften wir in der Lobby und tranken nebenbei einen leckeren Cappuccino. Am 1. Tag war das Abendessen (Buffet) OK. Am 2. Tag bekamen wir ein Menü. Alle Speisen wurden liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckten sehr gut. Alle Mitarbeiter in diesem Hotel sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vor allem bei unserem Guide Thilak möchten wir uns herzlich bedanken. Er hat die Rundwanderung im Nationalpark Horton Plans zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Er hat uns alles erklärt und dafür gesorgt, dass wir trotz vieler Besucher die Möglichkeit hatten, tolle Fotos zu machen (im Zug und bei der Wanderung). In der Nähe vom Hotel befindet sich eine Apotheke und ein Supermarkt.

We stayed two nights at the Orient Hotel. It is a very lovely hotel. The staff is very friendly. The food is very good. We did a guided tour through the Horton Plains National Park with a gut called Pulendran. He works at the Hotel as well. Highly recommended. Well experienced guy.

We really enjoyed our three days at the Hotel Orient. Everything was great, from the welcome, the room, the varied and very good cuisine, etc. to the always friendly and courteous staff. We would like to highlight the excursion to Horton Plains National Park. Accompanied by Hote Guide Tilak's expert and professional guidance, we experienced interesting and exciting moments. Mooi hotel, heel nette en correcte kamers, heerlijk eten. Sanitair heel net en super vriendelijk personeel. Geen airco op de kamer, wel ventilator. Goed werkende wifi in de lobby en restaurant, op de kamers afhankelijk van de ligging. Ligging dicht bij het centrum.

J'ai passé 3 jours dans cet hôtel et c'est une bonne découverte. L'établissement est propre, les chambres confortables et le restaurant de qualité. Le personnel est au petit soin avec les clients. Pendant mon séjour, j'ai également profité du service de la nuit au campement dans la nature, c'était vraiment incroyable. Une expérience que j'aimerais renouveler ! Merci à notre super guide Pulendran qui nous a accompagné pendant ces 3 jours : randonnée dans les plantations de thé, Ella's rock, trajet en train jusqu'à Ella. De très bonnes explications, merci encore. Je recommande cet hôtel, à bientôt j'espère

Nous n'avons pas séjourné dans cet hôtel mais dans un hôtel voisin. La note est donc indicative. En revanche nous avons bénéficié des services d'acxompaganteur randonnée de l'hôtel avec le guide Pule (ballade à Horton's plains et randonnée depuis Ohiya jusqu'à la cascade de Bambarakanda) et il a été très professionnel, agréable et bien renseigné. A recommander !

Le personnel est au petits soins. Nous avons très bien mangé. Très copieux et raffiné. Nous avons passé un bon moment au bar . Très bon cocktails. Merci à Roshan pour ses cocktail et ses tours de magie. Nous avons passé in très bon moment et une belle soirée.

This is a nice and charming hotel. The people working there are very friendly. The food is excellent in taste and quality. Everything is made fresh. The chef checks wether you are satisfied. For our trip to Horton plains they made a nice picknick. Also completly fresh. We recommend this hotel.
